20.01.2022 Dear Family and Friends, Our beloved Aurel Verne aka departed peacefully for his next great adventure 6pm Saturday 5th October 2019. He will always be loved, mi...ssed and celebrated. Aurel brought laughter and joy into the lives of everyone that crossed his path, whether on stage entertaining the masses across the world, engaging him on his walks through Centennial Park or sharing stories over a glass of his favourite champagne, Aurel always had a joke and song up his sleeve, a magic trick in his pocket and a glint in his eye. An incredible life to be celebrated, for the path he chose to dance and the world he wished to be. We celebrate his wonderful achievements and adventures throughout his 93 years. A natural entertainer, eager to entertain an audience as a 5 year old who took that passion as his guiding light to perfect the craft and engage an audience throughout his life as a true vaudevillian who loved mime, singing, dancing and some good old slap-stick comedy. As I look back, now at 93, perhaps mine was not a fabulous life, but it certainly was extremely active and adventurous. Growing old is inevitable but growing UP I am not so sure. In truth, I am a vaudevillian, an English name adapted from the French voix-de-ville meaning ‘voice of the town’. I am a showman and entertainer, and this is all I really ever wanted to do show off! --Aurel Verne 2019 Sachiko and Juliette honor their husband/father and we plan to celebrate his life in the first week of November 2019.
