25.01.2022 , . . Sounds simple right? Well it is. I do all the hard work for you.... Once you have had your session, you just have to choose your images and off we go! All my collections come with some sort of printed product, because I really do believe in a tangible product lasting longer than a digital file. 25.01.2022 Theyre only this small for such a short time, the first couple of weeks of life are the best time to photograph your new baby. This is because they change so fast. Lifestyle newborn gives you room to move with the time though! Since it is such a relaxed approach to newborn photography, you can have some leeway with when you take your photos... but most importantly still document this special time. 23.01.2022 Hi Everyone! Ive decided to take a bit of a break in January. The constant smoke of the bushfires is hard on everyone and its also meaning Im rescheduling a lot of sessions or changing things around a lot as families dont want to be out in it - and neither do I. I am ever hopeful that these bushfires will stop, and we will regain the beautiful blue skies we are used to... but I feel that taking a break in January while this is happening is my best course of action right ...now. For those already booked in, we will go ahead if we can - otherwise Im looking to change to February. Im going to use this time to recharge with my family for 2020, and I hope everyone else can do the same. My heartfelt thanks to the clients who have been understanding during this time of constant weather changes, smoke rolling in and the general uncertainty that goes with not knowing what we will be dealing with each day. Also, my heartfelt thanks to the firefighters who are out there day in and day out. We would be lost without you. If youve read this far, youve done well! Enjoy the festivities of ringing in 2020. 21.01.2022 How things have changed in the last few years. CDs and DVDs used to be all the rage to give to clients when I first started out. We had amazing packaging and beautiful cd covers. Those had a life expectancy once the data was recorded to them of approximately 2-5 years.... We then moved onto the trusty USB. The life expectency of a USB is slightly more, but they often get lost easily, break because the actual USB breaks or data is written to the...m too frequently and they stop working. Now, were in the land of the digital download.Many photographers (me included) use a digital download system now. You can download your images and then its up to you to save them somewhere safe. Backing up is essential. However, we have all lost something before. Printed products last. Ive talked about this for years. It is the reason I include a printed product of some sort in all my collections. I do believe theyll stand the test of time. Not only will you still have them, your grandkids children will be able to laugh at your funny clothes and wacky hairstyles...

19.01.2022 If you or someone you know is directly affected by the fires in NSW at the moment and would like to replace your family memories that were lost - jump on the website and request help. I will be signing up as a volunteer when I get a chance, so those in my local area may just get me or another AIPP member. As most of you know, I am not working in January except for those already booked in as Ive found the smoke has become too much to deal with in regards to sessions.... I feel privileged to call some of the organisers of this fantastic project friends, and think this is an amazing way that photographers can use their skills to help others in these trying times.

17.01.2022 I met this gorgeous little girl, just before Christmas - and it was amazing. She is the first baby of two gorgeous people I have met through other friends and it was an absolute honour to photograph her in her home. I was so happy with these images, and I know little Elsie is going to be well loved by all she is lucky enough to call family. My apologies for the late sharing, I took January off from photos and social media, and whilst I was still in touch with my clients, I was not in touch with my business page :P Enjoy, x

10.01.2022 One thing I love the most about the albums I create for clients is the gorgeous thick pages. These pages are durable, wipe clean from light spills and they look fantastic.... An album allows you to showcase so much more than just a few images, and I think theyre a must have if you want to have all your photos printed at once, and in one place. I adore albums for lifestyle newborn, because so much about a baby changes. I adore albums for families, as some of my families have now got a collection of images in sets of albums from our sessions over the years, they all fit perfectly together and look amazing... and what a story they hold.
