For a 30+ year old machine, an overhaul of the chain and sprocket drive and adjustment of the brakes was all that was needed to get it ticking along nicely! 20.01.2022 Quick service on this MTD on Monday identified some damage to the left hand blade and spindle/bearings after it had hit something in the yard. Ordered the parts then returned today to fit new blades, belt and spindle/bearing assembly to get it up and going again! 3 days from issue to resolution and this landscapers machine is back in operation and never had to leave his shed, the client was stoked with that turnaround

15.01.2022 First service on this Nobili flail mulcher in Emerald. For a 10+ year old machine its safe to say it was well overdue. The oil in the gearbox had completely lost its lubricity due to contamination and turned to sludge, meaning it would have only been a matter of time before this would have caused complete failure of bearings and gearbox resulting in hundreds of dollars in rebuilds for the customer. 08.01.2022 This customers mower would start, but only run for 15 minutes before the engine would die (this was due to starvation of fuel). After inspecting the fuel pick up line it was found to be full of debris. I didnt have to look far for the source of the issue, a hole in the fuel tank near the cap causing the tank to be full of dust and debris plugging the pickup and fuel filter. With the replacement of a $7 fuel filter and repair and flush of the fuel tank and lines the machine w...as fully operational again, all work was carried out cheaply and conveniently for the customer. 08.01.2022 Spent some days over these past couple weeks giving the boys at Lilydale Truck Centre a chop out on some repairs Working on some trucks doing wheel bearings, brakes, repairs to EWPs and more, enjoying doing something a bit different! 05.01.2022 Full service and check over on this Toro ride on out in Warburton. Customer complained machine wasnt cutting well, this was diagnosed to be caused by the tension being already maxed out on the belt tensioner and it still being quite loose (worn/stretched belt). Luckily this is an easy fix and something that can be carried out in a matter of days once parts have been ordered, minimising any down time for the customer If youre machine is due for a service and some attention, or isnt cutting or driving right then contact us now to book it in for a comprehensive service or repair

04.01.2022 Few services completed up at Mount Macedon Winery on their Datsun fork lift, Kubota tractor and Zero Turn mower Also spent time diagnosing cooling system issues (bad water pump, leaks) on the fork that were causing the LPG regulator to freeze and machine to not start, I identified and organised the parts on the day and will be back out next week to rectify the issue! Not a bad turnaround for a 30+ year old machine

02.01.2022 Some big repairs carried out recently to this customers boat trailer Rust had caused some serious damage, corroding brake fittings and the trailer chassis itself. The rear of the chassis had previously broken and off been repaired by a friend of theres with the boat still on it, doing this under load caused the alignment of the entire trailer to be thrown out causing poor handling and excessive wear to tyres and bearings. So it began by cutting out and grinding all the ...rust around the damaged rear of the chassis, and treating it with rust converter. After this the internal of the chassis was reinforced with 5mm plate, with an extra layer of plating on the front, back and top of the damaged area. In the process of doing so the alignment of the trailer was adjusted to where it should be leaving the trailer towing nicely again. This paired with the treatment and welding repairs plus replacement of all the corroded brake fittings the customer can now have confidence again whilst towing behind the wheel, just in time for summer too See more
