25.01.2022 What a cold and windy morning at the Penrith/Southern Cross Cycling Clubs - Individual Time Trial Managed to tolerate the conditions for about 45 minutes to capture these images using my Nikon Australia D850 and my Nikon 24-70 f2.8 lens. 14.01.2022 Thanks to Covid-19 all of my paid photography bookings were cancelled during Autumn and Winter. Spring and Summer are looking much better. Yesterday I ventured out to shoot the Penrith Cycling Club Time Trial and today it was the Panthers Triathlon Club's events. Although both jobs were voluntary, they've definitely helped me rediscover my love of Sports Photography. 11.01.2022 Had a fun afternoon down at the Sydney International Regatta Centre testing out the Nikon 200-500 f5.6 lens on the Nikon D850 Body. A great combination when used in good lighting. 07.01.2022 Hello Everyone, today I announce the official launch of my Movember 2020 campaign. To raise awareness and discussion about Men's Health I have decided that I will sport a coloured moustache for the remainder of this month - this weeks it's blue. I will have a clean shave on the 31st October for the glorious growing month of MOVEMBER. If anyone is interested in joining my MOVEMBER Team please let me know, I can send you an invite. We can raise funds individually and they'll co...mbine to our Team total. Last year our team, Dave Cooper, Tighe Cooper, Jake Cooper, Joshua Ryan and I raised a combined $5300.00 thanks to everyone's generous support. Many of you know (if not all of you) the following: Following on from a tumultuous 2018 & 2019, the year 2020 kicked me right in the guts. Still taking my daily doses of Citalopram for my mental health (anxiety and depression - now off for 14 days) and Naltrexone for my all too familiar over-indulgence with alcohol. It's complicated to say the least but having said that, I am as of today 15 days sober. I don't plan on staying on the wagon forever I just need to get things balanced, like they once were. Don't ever be fooled by the mask men like me wear, we are layered individuals, unpredictabe and complex to say the least. I Movember for me, for my father, my brother and for every man in society and for those women who love and support us in our daily lives.
