19.01.2022 What a wonderful transformation. This deck had seen some better days. JHA stripped, stabilized, and reclad the deck with new jarrah boards. We widened the entry step onto the deck and installed new pine and steel wire balustrading. Lovely clients are over the moon and the new outdoor area looks just phenomenal!

19.01.2022 Last night, we had a client send us through some happy snaps of the project at their home. It’s always so lovely to have happy clients loving their new spaces. A simple pine arbor and floating hardwood bench (between the existing trees).

18.01.2022 Lovely client wanted her multi-layered outdoor spaces at the side of the house to be level so the children could roam free. Another gorgeous jarrah job, this one is 89x19mm boards to match existing.

17.01.2022 Another wonderful merbau deck for another lovely client. Thanks to Satori Services for the landscaping preparation, removing the existing garden, pavers and soil. A great team up which we will definitely continue to use in the future.

16.01.2022 Termites can be a MASSIVE problem and definitely something you want to keep tabs on in your home. Hard to capture the extent of the damage they’d done at this home, but this rafter end gives you some idea JHA has removed and replaced it all with treated timbers so they won’t have this problem again

16.01.2022 Mini JHA helping Daddy on site, got the hi-vis on but the helmet was pushed off by his fluffy fairy fountain haha. This jarrah deck has some beautiful boards and Mama JHA cant wait to see the oil bringing out all the character!

11.01.2022 Just wanted to share an updated photo of this gorgeous blackbutt deck now that weve finished cutting the paving in. Seamless and just stunning. (We also installed the floating jarrah shelves above the aircon unit but theyre rather blurry in this photo!)

We comfort ourselves by remembering we had a beautiful 10mths while the rest of the world found ways to combat this quicker (meme stolen from the amazing Rob Lake and then left uncredited due to school not taking my children and thus removing time and brain, sorry Shaker!)

Thanks to Josh and DeCo for having us in on this project, such a pleasure working with you (JHA mama will take the kids for a chino sometime soon and update with some final photos!)

06.01.2022 Before and During a great alfresco overhaul. Installation of a gorgeous, curved blackbutt deck and reinstated paving. Just needing to finish off the finer details in the paving cuts and complete a bin screen in recycled jarrah. Looks like the perfect place for a pre-work coffee and post-work wine!

05.01.2022 Meet Danny. Danny runs Turner Carpentry in Byford but has been working in with Marcus and JHA for a few months now and is just great! Like Marcus, Danny has been in the industry for nearly 20yrs, the boys studied at TAFE together and are both excellently skilled in their trade. Very glad to have him on board! Not the greatest softball player, but makes up for it with his carpentry

04.01.2022 This is the start of a very large, multi-stage project were working on in Bouvard for the next couple of weeks. It is going to look absolutely phenomenal and we are 100% jealous of the amazing space the owners will have at the end. Watch this space for progress and finished project images!
