08.01.2022 For those of you who don’t know. I started making candles and melts seven years ago as a hobby whilst I was a carer to my son Jayden, who has autism. (I still am his carer and also have health issues so unfortunately I have not been able to turn my hobby into a profitable business) That said, I still enjoy making high quality candles and melts whenever I can. Here is a photo that showed up in my memories just now. It shows how much I have evolved over the years. As you can see, I used to make candles in tea cups and wine glasses. I think most of us did when we first started. I have also rebranded as I use to be called Luminescent Glow Candle Co.

05.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone. I have been a busy little bee the past few days, getting my candle stock back up. I have these in the pics plus 50 Shades and Nag Champa candles available now. These come boxed so make a lovely gift. I can now offer them in medium with a burn time of approximately 40hrs and small with a burn time of approximately 20hrs. If you would like a custom order of a particular fragrance, a small deposit will be required, thanks.

04.01.2022 Hi all, just thought I’d pop my head in and say hi. I am feeling frustrated and disappointed atm. In the seven years I have been doing this I have never had an issue acquiring wax or fragrance oils until now. The wax suitable for melts I want to buy was supposed to be available on the 11th September but unfortunately it is still not on my supplier’s website. I have managed to order container wax though so at least that’s something.

01.01.2022 Hi all. Things are changing in the candle world. Firstly, there is a major shortage Australia wide of wax and fragrances. My suppliers have also increased their prices. As a result I have had to rethink the price I charge for my melts. After much thinking this is what I have come up with. Rather than increase the price I have decided to use slightly smaller pots. This is the only way I can continue to charge $2.00ea for them. I would never decrease the amount of fragrance... I put in so you will still be getting the same strong scents that my melts are so popular for. As a result of these changes I will be phasing out the current shot pots, which are now on sale for $1.50ea until they are gone. This deal is only for the stock I currently have. Thanks Joy See more
