25.01.2022 Well that was frantic! Sunday morning baking Good thing we don't get 500 folks or more at Jiggi Church. The urn's too small and we didn't have enough scones! All gone!

24.01.2022 COVID19, Sars, Swine Flu, GFC, Recession, Polio, Vietnam War, Bushfires, drought...great love and loss, they've seen it all and still stay calm... Bill, Lola, John. Living proof of why we should respect our elders.

24.01.2022 The queue was long for the reopened outhouse - Chace and Sol were proud to be first, then we headed off to start the 2019 Christmas Carols service.

24.01.2022 11.00am tomorrow, first service for 2020, Jiggi Church everyone welcome :)

21.01.2022 Mark the Calendar! Next service is 11.00am Sunday 16th February, little yellow church, Jiggi Road, Jiggi.

19.01.2022 Denise was only photographing the brass plaque on the inside of the door! Nice photo though :)

19.01.2022 Socially distanced Uniting Church Services were back in action today in Lismore and 'Resurrection' was the theme. Resurrection...revival, restoration, regeneration, renewal, re-establishment, reintroduction, reappearance, rebirth, renaissance, comeback. All of the above Every Sunday at 9.00am.

18.01.2022 Smile! Geof Webb, Lismore Regional Mission's own piano man! (and a Bex Hill pipe organ maestro).

18.01.2022 Look who we found! John Mace and Craig Beck brushing up on special skills with folks from other congregations around Northern Rivers...Jiggi Church, Nimbin, Bex Hill and Coraki. Our smaller churches remain closed a little longer, but the teams are getting ready...

15.01.2022 Sharing is caring after Jiggi Church. Lemons, limes, garlic, persimmons, chokos, cucumbers, fruit cake, home grown, home made, happily shared

15.01.2022 From the rivers of the Wilson to the Richmond, the Mountains from Kosciusko to Uluru we will sing together with joy. From the Great Dividing Range to Mt. Nardi they sing before the Lord, who comes to judge the earth. Let this service of worship be an expression of our thoughtfulness and our desire to live lives in harmony with the environment, with one another and with the One whose birth we celebrate this season, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. - Rev Robert Buchan.

13.01.2022 Something lovely to start the week.

13.01.2022 A duet sung for the world, all the way from South Africa. Emma Jean 11 years old and her Dad opened a You Tube Channel this month and recorded this as a special performance for Easter 2020 whilst the majority of the world is in lockdown.

11.01.2022 Rain, Hail or Shine, dodge the potholes because Church is on at Jiggi...11.00am today at the yellow church and tea and coffee afterwards at Jiggi Hall (thanks Hall Committee)

08.01.2022 While our churches are not open, where there is a will there is a way - digital services every Sunday for the combined Uniting Churches of Northern Rivers and the far North Coast.

07.01.2022 Letting everyone know that in the interests of the broader community, effective immediately for a while at least, across Lismore Uniting Church Regional Mission including our Village Churches we are pausing our gatherings as everyone everywhere tries to out-sit and out-smart the incidence of COVID19. We will stay in touch by phone, email and FB... still together as a community, even if from a distance.

07.01.2022 Warmest thanks to the Jiggi Hall Committee especially Marina for kindly letting us use the kitchen and to Joy for asking on our behalf. Some of the Jiggi Church folk had never been to the hall. It particularly brought back memories for Bill who once took the minutes for the Hall committee for more than 20 years. He recalled the days of huge dances, Christmas Carols, market days and weddings all at the hall, utes with beer kegs parked at the back door and one event attended by 165 guests. And whoever left the curious pink fruit on the BBQ - you had us stumped, everybody ate one even though no idea what they were...so we hope they aren't poison!

06.01.2022 Mark the Calendar! Next service will be 11.00am Sunday 16th February, 2020. Wishing everyone a safe, peaceful and happy Christmas...and sending very special thanks to John Mace our intrepid leader and to the talented Craig Beck who brings his voice and music to our church.
