24.01.2022 Rob and I would like to thank everyone who helped us clean up today as well as those who offered help and sent well wishes. We have been through floods before and even though this one has left us a little more bruised and battered than in the past, we will re-open, just not tomorrow.

16.01.2022 A major bait and switch scam is preying on those who are in urgent need of a locksmith. Occupying the top entries in a search for a locksmith, these internation...al companies are sending unqualified persons, often backpackers, to open locked doors. Their original $45.00 quote ends up being up to ten times that amount! Here is what the Real Estate industry is saying. https://www.domain.com.au//if-it-sounds-too-cheap-it-is-t/

11.01.2022 Half way through day 1

11.01.2022 A day of cleaning, some interesting finds and makeshift repairs will see us closed to the public in the short term until we can repair/replace the shop front. Height inside is shown on a post.

11.01.2022 MLAA Future View: In this section of our Facebook posts we like to ask Is this the future of the locksmithing industry. Many inventor and R&D departments alre...ady work on creating the next big thing. We see smart home appliances evolve that may make a physical key redundant. We see mobile AI powered apps that can grant access to a house automatically. We see modern wireless technology merge into what we call a lock. Maybe not today, but in 5 years, this might be a thing: See more

03.01.2022 SOLD 2nd Hand Under Counter Deposit Safe for Sale - $150.00

03.01.2022 Some serious water forces must have come through here to cause this damage also with the usual amount of sludge left behind.

03.01.2022 **UPDATE**SOLD** This Halls safe is finished and is for sale...pictures pretty much tell all. However, please feel free to ask me any questions. It can be palle...ted/crated and ready for pickup for an additional $250.00 (see photos on my wall for details of how I prepare safes for shipment via freight). All shipping arrangements to be arranged by buyer...or can be picked up in person by buyer...zip code is 44866. The safe is a total of 25.5" tall (including wheels), 16.875" deep (plus hinges and dial), and 15.75" wide. Safe was completely disassembled, sandblasted, body-worked, painted with 2-stage automotive paints, wet-sanded and buffed. All striping and lettering is painted by hand...the wider gold stripe is 23KT gold leaf (applied same as they did it back then...engine turning added). Lock was also disassembled, cleaned, serviced, etc....works like a charm. New keys made for inner lockbox and drawer (note the joinery used on drawer...pretty cool!). All parts and interior wood is original...simply cleaned, sanded, refinished...carpet is new. Lilly is painted as well. Payment options are cash at pickup or PayPal (safe will not leave my shop until funds are received, cleared, and double checked). Price is $3100.00. Please note..the word "RESTORED" should NOT mean simply "repainted"...it is as correct as I can get it to its original colours and lettering, striping, etc. Some folks use the word "ReStOrEd" very loosely...I take it seriously :0) Thanks for looking and reading...please share and tell your friends. The quarter (seen taped on the door) is there for size reference and to show details of how fine/thin the striping/lettering is. Matt (Nahum 1:7) See more
