25.01.2022 A little movie of 'Mununja the Butterfly Garden' that was built in 2017 at the National Arboretum Canberra. All project credits are on the YouTube page.

25.01.2022 St.Kilda garden coming into its second growing season. Hedges should thicken up this summer. Makes me nostalgic for those Smith & Gordon plants by @teenacrawford_ Constructed by #bottlandscapes Maintenance by @willgibsongardens Lighting by @light_on_landscape... In this garden I incorporated little bricks of 500x100 Harcourt Granite from @bamstone_bluestone

19.01.2022 Driveway detail in an arts and crafts style garden. For this project we had brick cobbles made especially for the job. The site had a heritage overlay and took about 18 months from design to completion. 19.01.2022 It has been a very wet spring down at Flinders. As the water table slowly recedes, Australian plants tentatively come to life in some sort of organised chaos. I've been madly trying to restore this garden that suffered from neglect during lockdown. That's my excuse anyway. #plantingdesign #australiangarden #australianplants #flinders3929 #floodzonegardening #movingwater

17.01.2022 'Mununja The Butterfly Garden' National Arboretum Canberra- Gallery of Gardens This garden depicts Mununja the Butterfly, a dreamtime story of the Ngunawal people, the custodians of the land that includes Canberra and the site of the National Arboretum. Mununja the Butterfly is a story told by Ngunawal elder Don Bell, with thanks to @thunderstone01 (Ngunawal custodians) and the Ngunawal people. Plants were selected for cultural significance and for their relevance in providin...g habitat or food source for butterflies. There is an emphasis on plants that grow naturally in the ACT area and surrounds. Designed by Jim Fogarty for Garawana Creative (Charlie Solomon) Constructed by Able Landscaping Pty Ltd John Mackay AM and Colette Mackay, along with the Waldren Family, donated this garden for the enjoyment and education of future generations and to preserve the Ngunawal story of ‘Mununja the Butterfly’. @garawanacreative @thunderstone01 @visitcanberra @nationalarboretumcanberra @able.landscaping #nationalarboretum #nationalarboretumcanberra #mununjathebutterfly #indigenousculture #contemporarygarden #canberra #australiangarden #australianplants #archicad #archicadv24 #twinmotion #graphisoft

15.01.2022 This single story red brick Victorian period home was renovated by @pauldelanyarchitects in 2011. The front of the house has retained its period charm with point- tucked red brick walls and a return veranda. Situated on a corner allotment, the house enjoys a 135 degree view from the front. The front garden is ‘L’ shaped and having not much space, the clients wanted to remove the existing front grass and replace with paving to allow for greater access down the side of the hou...se. The grass was also removed as watering lawns was difficult at that time of drought and water restrictions. Constructed by #bottlandscapes. Completed Dec 2011 Maintained in its formative years by Peter Fullwood and now by @willgibsongardens Lighting by @Light_on_landscape Ashlar Pavers by @Anstonarchproducts #frontgarden #gardendesign #plantingdesign #stonningtongarden #landscapedesign #landscapearchitect #traditionalgarden #periodgarden #victoriangarden

10.01.2022 My Melbourne home garden. I've let it go a bit but have have been trying to catch up during lockdown. My daughters just watch me through the windows. They are like zoo animals trapped inside doing home schooling. Maybe they think the same when they watch me. I think they are right. #frontgarden #stonningtongardens #boroondaragardens #boroondara #stonnington #landscapearchitecture #landscapedesign #aila #plantingdesign #lockdowngarden
