18.01.2022 Jimboomba Optometrists is still OPEN for business however we too, just like many businesses are taking every precaution to ensure the safety of all patients and staff. - All patients are required to use the hand sanitiser at reception upon check in. - Paients will have the option to wait outside with the seating provided or instore in one of our 3 spaced out seating areas. - All testing equipment, seats and surfaces will continue to be cleaned before & after each eye test.... - Appointments will be spaced further apart to reduce the number of people in store at any one time and allow increased time for sanitising. - Appoinments will also be made for spectacle collections to allow us to keep a minimum number of patients in store at anytime. - Contact lenses can be delivered directly to you meaning you do not need to enter the store. - All frames will be cleaned after you try them on before they are returned to the display. - Social distancing reminders have been placed in store. If you have made an appointment and are generally feeling unwell we would ask that you call the practice to reschedule. Those who have recently traveled overseas please ensure you have self isolated for 2 weeks prior to making an appointment. One of these conditions is pterygium: a fleshy overgrowth on the surface of the eye, caused by sun exposure.
