24.01.2022 Jimboomba Tennis Club is monitoring closely updates from Tennis Queensland and Logan City Council regarding Covid 19 restrictions. Overnight there has been a change to restrictions to the number of players attending the club. The new restriction is as follows: No more then 10 people at the club at any one time. This includes any committee members or coaches that may be at the club.... Please call the club before attending to gauge if the club will be at capacity.

24.01.2022 As we all navigate through the gradual re-opening of the club we would like to remind players to please call the club and check availability to avoid disappointment. While at the club please take note of the signage and make use of the hygiene measures on offer. From the committee and the coach we have truly missed the buzz the club has and we cannot wait until it returns. Until then please all be safe and patient with us.

22.01.2022 Jimboomba Tennis Club was the lucky recipient of a successful grant to resurface our hard courts. Resurfacing day is finally here and it is looking great. Unfortunately the hard courts remain closed until further notice. We apologise for the inconvenience but it will be well worth the wait.

22.01.2022 Jimboomba Tennis Club has been working hard over the last week to implement Tennis Queenslands Return to Play Roadmap guidelines. Stage One of the Roadmap allows the following: * Limited social play. No more than 10 people per court. This does not include competitions or fixtures. * Small group coaching only (no more than 10 people per court) with no more than one person per 4 square metres and social distancing observed... As of the 19 May 2020 the club will reinstate the key for social tennis players only. To obtain the key remains the same procedure however the club has put in place the following: * Clear signage on social distancing and hygiene rules * Hand sanitizers and wipes stations for hygiene purposes (located in the disabled toilet and must returned after use) * Facilities limited to courts, disabled toilet and out door seating areas * The clubhouse will not be accessible even when manned by committee * Players will be responsible for policing their own social distancing and hygiene rules when attending the club Our Coach Brett Day will be in contact with players regarding the start dates and times of coaching lessons. 14.01.2022 May 2020 - update Unfortunately our club remains closed at this time. Until we can meet the guidelines in place and ensure everyones safety, we need to remain closed to keep our community safe. As restrictions start to ease, we will reevaluate the clubs position. Rest assured our committee is keeping abreast of the latest information and is meeting regularly to get our club back up and running for everyone to enjoy as quickly as possible.

With new court surfaces and LED lights the club is looking fantastic and is just waiting for you! The club has a court to suit all with three hard courts and two grass courts. Including access to club amenities, disable toilet and a shady patio/picnic area to rest in between games. ... 10.01.2022 Cardio tennis was heaps fun! I am useless at tennis but even I managed to hit a ball or two back! I had to have my handout like a high five to concentrate but that’s apart of my technique I am guessing. The group was awesome and I was a little sad it ended but don’t tell anyone. I am not sure if I am a better Treasurer or tennis player but I will be back next week to give this another go! Come join me.

09.01.2022 From the 3rd of July Queensland moved into stage 3 of restrictions opening up the full use of facilities through the Covid Safe Industry Plan. We can now resume normal on court activities with physical distancing being applied off court. Jimboomba Tennis Club is working to resume our tennis timetable! We couldnt be more excited!

04.01.2022 Why we love junior tennis.. these two have been playing together since 2018. They now play together Saturday and Thursdays as a team. They along with many of our other juniors are great mates. Our club has an awesome community of juniors who love putting on their Jimboomba Tennis Club shirts each Saturday and playing!
