07.01.2022 All events under the Club Championship banner are now underway, with the senior events commencing on Tuesday. Heading in to round three of the Men's Club Champi...onships on Saturday, Alex Guy leads the field by four shots from Kieran Curtis. The ladies event is also tightly contested at the top, with Nim Ford leading by 3, from Paulette Graham with two rounds to play. Vaughn Arthur put together two solid rounds to not only be leading the junior event, but also the men's overall nett event. Judy Higo leads the senior ladies field with a strong opening round. The round of the Championships so far goes to Kevin Ward, who at 68 years of age, shot a phenomenal 68 off the stick to be leading the pack after round one in the seniors event and will be hard to catch with a ten shot lead ahead of round two. 03.01.2022 As members would be aware, the course and surrounding areas were threatened by a large bush fire over the past week. Through the incredible efforts of emergency... services and volunteers, we escaped with minimal damage to the course. A letter on behalf of the members and staff has been sent to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services to express our gratitude. To further show our appreciation, we will be hosting a Fire Emergency Services and Volunteers Appreciation Day, inviting those involved to the Club to enjoy a day on the course and at the Club with our members to thank them for all their efforts.
