15.01.2022 It is abundantly clear that the community wants council to upgrade the Moorabbin Children’s Traffic School. I will seek support for this from councillors at the first council meeting of the new councillors to get this underway.

13.01.2022 Putting Tucker Ward first; I am an experienced, active and involved Tucker Ward councillor, Mayor in 2015 and long term resident of East Bentleigh. My vision is for a diverse, vibrant and inclusive community that cares and works for its residents and values community engagement in decision making. A contemporary council that listens and responds to community feedback and implements strong policies and controls that protect heritage, environment and neighbourhood character. I... am passionate about improving services and facilities to support our community and will continue to take on residents’ concerns to achieve positive outcomes. It is important to address community safety issues, secure the future of our aged care homes, improve services to households and acquire new open space. We need a clean graffiti free city with well-maintained streets and footpaths, safe and well-lit parks and playgrounds, and additional funding for home maintenance, seniors, disability and youth services. I will work to build a council run children’s hub with a new child and maternal health centre and affordable council run long daycare centre. With the recent acquisition of new open space on Mackie Road, I will work with stakeholders to develop a masterplan for Mackie Reserve that incorporates a new all-abilities adventure playground and pavilion, with additional courts for tennis and netball/basketball. I will continue to work on an integrated public transport strategy for Tucker Ward that will improve connections with buses and trains, increase the number of safe bike lanes and extend the current tram line further along Nepean Highway and up North Road, connecting East Bentleigh to Ormond station and Monash University. Watch out for the Saturday afternoon Glen Eira Cup two bowl triples winter competition. To re-elect Cr Jim Magee, please Vote 1 MAGEE Jim, 2 ZHANG Li, and 3 MARTIN Declan, then number remaining boxes. Thank You Regards Jim Magee

11.01.2022 This is the drawing that inspires me to be a councillor and at the same time saddens me because I can’t fix this quick enough . In the next four years this will drive me to make Glen Eira and all-ability city

09.01.2022 Thank you Julie and Jude for your kind words i am humbled.
