25.01.2022 Yay we’re so excited! The Augmented Reality for The Dad Emu mural at the Flaxman st / Otway rd bridge is live! If you’re local, you’ve got to head down and try it out, it’s so amazing. The Trick of the Eye 3D Street Art Workbook, which will contain six templates for 3D trompe l’oeil murals that you can chalk out on your driveway or footpath. 13.01.2022 September 16th is Plover Appreciation Day, a day in which we celebrate and raise awareness of all things plover. Plovers are ground nesting birds that live on beaches, lakes shores, wetlands and grasslands. Unfortunately many species are also highly threatened, largely because we humans also love to hang out on their beachfront homes. Plovers and their nests are small and well camouflaged, so humans can have a major impact on the survival of their eggs and chicks without even... realising. Through awareness, understanding and respectfully sharing the beach, we can peacefully coexist with plovers and give them a fighting chance. Titled SHARE this piece depicts a mother and baby Ringtail possum pushing their cans of Share toward the front door of Warrnambool And District Food Share, showing it doesn’t matter wether you share a big can or a small can, it all makes a difference. Dedy and his huge clan of volunteers spend countless hours picking up, packing and distributing boxes of fresh and long life food to local families and people in need. The work this crew cannot be celebrated enough. If you’d like to get involved, pop down to 24A Harrington RD Warrnambool and have a chat, wether to pop over with some food, or lend some hours volunteering.
