06.01.2022 Lost Samoyed - from Hilltop / Colo Vale NSW. Please share help bring Weston home. I’m sharing this message from my dear friend, Kylie who is desperate to find ...beautiful Weston Weston our beloved 5 year old Samoyed went missing in the early hours of Sunday morning (7/3/21) with his big sister our 10 year old Samoyed Glinda. Escaped from Wilson Drive Hilltop (Colo Vale) the northern tip of the Southern Highlands. Glinda was found a few hours later with significant injuries from a dog attack. After 2 vet visits she is on the mend but is fretting for her little brother terribly. We initially thought he had run into bushland and have had been searching all week. We have sought the help from a scent dog, a dog tracker/trapper, we currently have 9 cameras and 2 dog traps set trying to get a sighting. We have used the services of pet detectives, a thermal drone, a normal drone, done numerous letterbox drops and posters, contacted radio stations and of course searched extensively. We are now starting to suspect he may have been taken. Weston and Glinda have both been volunteers at the Variety Club Children’s Christmas party and the Special Children’s Christmas party their whole lives. As well as other schools for the intellectually and physically challenged. These dogs are special and we need to find him! He has been listed as missing on his microchip so if he gets scanned we will be notified. If anyone knows anything please make contact. Please keep your eyes out for a new dog at the park, out walking, at the groomer, the vet, even advertising on Gumtree etc. Cash reward offered for safe return. No questions asked.
