16.01.2022 What do you want to see on this page? You said everything, especially drum solos. Well, here is my solo from the Angels, Oils, Divinyls sold out show on Saturday. This is in the Oils track Power and the Passion...water on the drums and a good trashing included!

14.01.2022 I haven't posted much on my drumming page lately. I wonder how much people would like to hear and see stuff...and if you do, what would you like to see? Stuff from Gigs, drumming videos and photos, comments and ideas...let me know what you think?

14.01.2022 I love playing drums and this song is a favourite as it is quite a challenge. For those that understand time signatures, this song Spoonman by Soundgarden, jumps between 7/4 and 4/4 the whole way through the song with a beautiful 3/4 middle eight. If you listen and watch the whole video there's a great change of time signatures to high light this. At 1.44 min it jumps to 7/4 and the at 2min mark 3/4, which is just drums for 8 bars. The best thing though is this awesome band...Revolution, Cam nails the Chris Cornell vocal as do Simon, Chris and Tommy with their parts. Come and see us if you ever get the chance.

13.01.2022 Here’s one of my solos from the Pink/Gaga show.

11.01.2022 Here's my drum solo which is at the end of the Pink/Lady Gaga show. Each musician is introduced and then you're into your solo. I started this with a Samba feel on the cow bell with snare ghosting and built it from there. Finished with some stick twirling which always seems to be popular with the crowd.

11.01.2022 My gig in Good Morning Vietnam at Redcliffe and Logan Entertainment Centre’s. Such a great show and love the cast and great audiences that turn up! Next week we’re in Ipswich and Noosa!

09.01.2022 Remo have recently brought out some new drum heads which are Emperor Colortones. I have fitted out my toms with a set of the red variety and they sound amazing. Warm and bright with heaps of attack. What better way to test them out than at a sold out Eagles Tribute show at Southport RSL. I was so spoilt with my fold back set up...2 drum fill wedges, a sub woofer, stereo in ear mix capped of with my newly purchased Butt Kicker. The sound was AMAZING. Thanks to Justin Bounty who is the house sound guy and does an exceptional job. Check out the Digico sound desk set up he uses!

04.01.2022 Revolution played its first gig on Friday night at the Wallaby Hotel and thanks to the great enthusiastic crowd that turned up to see the show. Here's our version of Spoonman by Sound Garden which is a favourite of mine to play as the drummer mainly because the time meter changes through out the song from 7/4 to 4/4, 3/4, 2/4 and back again. That aside check out the amazing vocal of Cam Brown more than just doing justice to a Chris Cornel number. Please enjoy!
