24.01.2022 We've made our chat Wall better and easier to use on the website. We may still need some final touches so it works effectively on mobile devices. You will need to register again on the wall as it's a new database, however I'll try to avoid this with future upgrades.

21.01.2022 Pleased to announce the official launch of the android app.. you can get it here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details

20.01.2022 We're slowly getting there with the website, the important thing needed now is content in our forums etc to help build interest. The more you can contribute, the better. If you aren't already a member, please join up (completely free) and start posting information you think will be useful to others. We also have a chat area with groups etc similar to FB inclusive of friends, pm, etc etc, the big difference being there's no government censorship. Cheers to those who have alrea...dy added info. We have several sections in the forum including prospecting, off grid living and of course survival stuff. So please take a few minutes to have a look and add anything you think would be helpful. PS we don't plan on any more future upgrades at this stage, so hopefully it's the last time you need to register for those who have done so a few times already https://jimsoutback.com.au/forum/

06.01.2022 Cummock (aka Australian Bluebells) have cylindrical sweet fruits which are eaten when ripe and are a good source of Vitamin C. Apparently the native bluebell is "Mokare's fruit from the Menang Tribe. Has anyone had experience with this fruit?

03.01.2022 As a general rule of thumb, everything you need to be able to survive in the Australian outback can be made from sticks and stones. This is why the original nomads of Australia and the original indigenous people could easily survive. I know how to do this because I spent many years in outback communities, learning from anyone and everyone. [ 153 more words ] https://www.jimsoutback.com.au/2019/02/16/sticks-and-stones/
