17.01.2022 Ironing uniforms can be time-consuming, but the finished product is worth it. Getting the folds right & ironing in the creases all comes with practice and to get you started we’ve listed the steps out for you. 1. It might seem simple, however, make sure your ironing board is set up correctly around waist height. Fill your iron with cold water, plugin and turn the heat to appropriate setting. Wait for the iron to heat up. 2. If there are buttons undo them all. Lay the top hal...f of the shirt flat on the ironing board. Flip the collar up. Iron the collar on both sides 3. Turn the shirt sideways. Fold the sleeves from the shoulder seam down to the ends to create a clean crease. If there is a logo on the arm fold this in half too. Iron over this fold from both sides to set the crease in for a crisp line. Repeat this step with the other sleeve. 4. Turn the shirt over so that the back of the shirt faces up. Make sure the surface is flat without creases. Begin ironing with the iron pointed at the top of the shirt. Start with the area around the collar. Avoid pleating around this area. 5. Move the iron to the bottom of the back of the shirt and iron each panel from bottom to top. Turn the shirt as each panel is ironed. 6. Iron the front panel in the same manner. Carefully iron around the front pocket. Switch to the other front panel and turn the shirt again as each panel is ironed. 7.
