21.01.2022 REPRESENTING! A nice weekend with some pretty nice tacky trails. Holding up nicely thanks to all the hard work from our volunteers this year. Currently we have 2 more months with maintenance days coming up. Also get yourself a sweet jersey and put back into the trails. All the profits that the JTS has generated from these jerseys is to go towards some trails upgrades planned for this autumn. Stay tuned.

11.01.2022 From little things big things grow. JTS along with key Jindabyne stakeholders in planning, tourism and business have worked with SAP to put in a great vision for a Mountain Bike Park and associated infrastructure in the heart of Jindabyne. The Stewardship will continue to work alongside key stakeholders to make this a world-class mountain bike park that is still open and accessible to our community and the JTS volunteers.

10.01.2022 CAN YOU IMAGINE. a world-class MTB-park right here in Jindabyne!? Purpose-built gravity trails for all levels from beginner to advanced!? Being a part of your local MTB-community, sharing your vision and having your voice heard!? Well guess what, the wheels are in motion... Help us drive this vision by getting involved in the SAP (Special Activation Precinct) Planning Project. Go to the link below and scroll down to take the 5-minute survey or comment with your vision and id...eas. We’ve even provided some inspiration below :) https://dpie.mysocialpinpoint.com.au/snowy -> We support the creation of a world class MTB park on the edge of town. -> Mountain biking is one of the largest growth sports in the world. -> Whilst we have a solid base of current and proposed trails, these are mostly shared use, two way lineal trails located on the valley floor or lake edge. -> We can place ourselves as one of, if not the best, internationally-recognised southern hemisphere MTB destination, amongst other locations such as Derby, Maydena and Rotorua. -> We support the use of the Snowy Hydro land at West Jindabyne, and believe it will provide the ideal MTB centrepiece to place Jindabyne as the most significant Mountain Bike Trail destination in Australia and become one of the most iconic Ride Destinations in the world. -> We support compatible, sustainable land uses and activities that can co-exist with mountain biking and a trail network. -> We request government funding to undertake a feasibility study for a mtb park at West Jindabyne. -> What better way to future proof our region to climate change and the seasonality of our tourism! Building resilience through diversity Thanks everyone!
