12.01.2022 Steve recently had these two lovely boys to start for one of our loyal clients Tim Boyd. Very nice types bred on some of the best polo lines. Destined for the polo fields of Australia and perhaps overseas. The chestnuts brother was a 10 goal international horse. We are so privileged to be given the trust to start a lot of superstars for great loyal clients each year.

10.01.2022 After having 2 kids and a difficult horse that knocked my confidence, I was a bit worried about starting another young horse. But the right start sets the horse... up for success. After riding Apollo at Steve's place and at home I know I made the right decision. Steve did a fantastic job and now I have a 2year old that is happy, confident and eager to learn. Thank you so much for starting my new equine partner. I'm really excited for our future together. I'll definitely be sending my yearling to Steve next year to start. 06.01.2022 A Salute to Rose Stewart (Davidge) This is what this page is all about. How fortunate are we to see these 80 year old family photos of such an amazing horsewoma...n! Rose Stewart (nee Davidge) from Moruya, NSW was a showjumper in the 1930s and 1940s. She was also a fine polocrosse player - all the Davidge family were also very involved in polocrosse throughout NSW from the 1950s onward. These photos show her competing at Sydney Royal in the ladies’ high jump (where she cleared 7'3") and the hunting pairs and team of fours, playing polocrosse and riding a horse at 90. Rose Stewart used to ride one horse and lead two horses to compete in all the South Coast Shows from Moruya up to Cooma in that era; it wouldn't have been uncommon in those days. In later years she was a founding member of pony club in the Moruya area and remained chief instructor for the southern area for many years. Detailed captions with each photo. Thanks to Vicki Evans and Vicki's aunt Margaret ('Jo') Stewart (Rose's daughter) for these amazing memories we have been able to share.
