25.01.2022 Anne and Bec are here working hard booking and scheduling for Term 3 Learn to Swim classes! If you pre-paid for Term 2 classes we have emailed & called all of you so if you haven’t already done so please email or call us back so we can book your children in.... If you’re a client that usually pays up front term by term and you’d like to book your children for Term 3, starting Monday July 13th please call the office anytime between Monday to Thursday from 9am to 2pm. Of course we are extremely busy so alternatively email us at [email protected] with what you would like and we will get back to you as soon as we can. If you were previously booked in on our monthly Direct Debit option we are currently making changes to that system so will be calling you all next week. PLEASE NOTE - NO KIDS PREVIOUSLY ON DIRECT DEBIT HAVE BEEN REBOOKED OR ROLLED OVER.... We can’t wait to see all the kids smiley faces back here next term

Our Covid safe guidelines are in place - extra cleaning, spaced seating, no equipment borrowing, social distancing, checking in and hand sanitizer stations. Recent announcements by the QLD government don’t affect our programs as we have an approved Covid Plan firmly in place. ... Stay safe and in the words of a famous little fish... Just keep swimming

Greg has been a regular lapper of ours for over 10 years and now he has decided to join our team of Instructors to teach adults the joy and benefits of swimming. ... This man has an enormous amount of knowledge to offer & he will be sure to be a hit amongst the patrons. A massive thanks to our Council, QLD Govt, & the newly formed Aquatic Industry Alliance who have been working tirelessly these past weeks on a plan to get pools reopened. Whilst the shutters are currently still down, our team are working hard getting the complex ready for re-opening.... We are scheduling Learn to Swim classes, aqua aerobic classes and general recreational swim times for our indoor heated pool. 13.01.2022 More good news peeps Graham Fidler from Triple F Tri will be Heading our Adult Swim sessions from Tuesday 6th of October. following sessions scheduled;... 5.15am - 6.15am on Monday and Thursday mornings 9.15am - 10.15am Monday to Friday mornings 6pm - 7pm Tuesday evenings Cost is general entry to the pool plus $7.50 to the coach. Please note that all passes that were valid when we were shutdown due to covid have been extended until the 31st of December this year. A little bit about Graham & his experience is outlined below: - Graham has lived with his family in the Western Suburbs for the past 20 years - a true "local" - Graham has coached multisport in the local community for the past 6 years. - Graham is a current accredited Performance Level Coach with Triathlon Australia with a scope of practices. - As an athlete, Graham has completed 8 x full Ironman events and 12 x 1/2 Ironman events & over 40 triathlons of all distances - Coached to World Championship Level - 2019 Male U20 Age Group World Champion (Triathlon) / Podium 2019 Male U20 world Champion (Aquathlon) In his own words; " I have a passion for helping people and coaching is the perfect medium for me to do that. I love coaching at all levels, for fun, fitness and for performance. I am looking forward to meeting the senior swimmers at the Jindalee Pool". Graham will bring a wealth of experience to the sessions and his welding personality will be a great fit for our team.

04.01.2022 With all this COVID stuff going on it’s more important than ever to support local businesses by buying from local stores, getting your groceries from neighbourhood traders, or grabbing takeaway from your go-to cafes and restaurants. The pool may not be open but we are still supporting other locals in the area! Today we wanted to highlight some of the the shops behind the complex that are still open and need your support. So pop in there instead of the big shopping centres.... Burger Pl8 - fantastic homemade burgers run by one of our own Instructors husband! Lees Bakery - hands down one of the best bakeries in the area! Jindalee Fresh Fruit Market - run by Wally and his team they are still operating and have great stock items as well like pasta and tinned tomatoes. Medical Centre - still open and taking new clients. Call Cathy or book online - phone appointments available as well as face to face. Best bit is they bulk bill ChemSav Discount Chemist - Reggie and the team are still working tirelessly to ensure you have your pills. There is also the Butcher, the IGA , Indian restaurant doing takeaway. So many great retailers still open to support us during this time.
