17.01.2022 It's all been happening this week at the club! $45,000 NEW GRANTS FROM THE BCC AND GAMBLING BENEFIT COMMUNITY FUND In the last 7 days the Club has been extremely fortunate to receive $45,000 in grants from the Brisbane City Council and the Gambling Benefit Community Fund:... A new shed on the school oval near the courts for storing equipment for netball and football training, and also for the school. A new greens mower for the oval Maintenance on the clubhouse -------------------------------------------------------- JESS PUGH The State Government previously provided the Club with a $150,000 grant for the installation of the new ground lights. We were going to have an official Turning on the Lights at the start of the season but that was blown out of the water with COVID. Jess Pugh MP for Mount Ommaney our local State Member is also a strong supporter for the Jags. With restrictions being eased she came down last night for the Little A’s sign-on for their new season. The Little A’s use the ground over the summer months. We caught up with Jess and Milton for a quick photo under the lights. -------------------------------------------------------- FUNDING FROM MILTON DICK Milton Dick MP our Federal Member has always been a strong supporter of the Jags. In keeping with this support, he is providing the Club with a $2,000 donation. Please say a big thank you to Milton if you see him when you’re out and about.
