24.01.2022 DId you know that the used eyeglasses dropped off at Councillor Matthew Bourke's office at Mt Ommaney Centre helped Lions Australia ensure that over 195,000 people across the South Pacific see better (July 2018 and December 2019)? We're not done yet - drop your old eyeglasses off for recycling. Professionals grade the glasses ensuring they are given to those that will benefit most.
23.01.2022 We're still here and waiting until we can start serving our community again. Until then - be kind to you and those around you
19.01.2022 Helping the environment, another thing that Lions do. Our meetings are cancelled at the moment, but we would still love to welcome you as a member on the other side of this.
18.01.2022 Because Lions Club members fund the operations of their clubs from their own pocket, Brisbane Jindalee Lions Club has been able to donate $1,285.00 to both the NSW RFS and Victorian CFA during January. This includes $200 from the Jindalee Bowls Club Ladies and $370 of donations from staff and customers at Bunnings Oxley. Australian Lions Foundation has also raised over $600,000 in donations for those affected by bushfires - adminstration costs are $0.. You can help by donating to the 'National Appeal Fund' BSB 036048 Account No 440704. Alternately, pop into Bunnings Oxley tomorrow (23 Jan) and buy a sausage from the Bunnings staff who are BBQing for bushfires.
18.01.2022 Everything we raise in the community goes back to the community! #201Q1 #Q1Lions #dreambigwalktall https://www.givenow.com.au/australianlionsfoundation
17.01.2022 You can help fund research into Diabetes.
17.01.2022 We'll hopefully be back in action soon. Until then be kind.
15.01.2022 Even though it seems all we've done in 2020 is adapt to change, Jindalee Lions has managed to keep a tradition going. Come and see us at Mt Ommaney Centre on the 19th and 20th November and purchase your fruit filled Christmas Cake (we now have EFTPOS). If you can't get there, please visit one of our awesome Christmas Cake resellers - Peter Kolb Amcal Pharmacy Middle Park, Westpac Mt Ommaney, Blooms The Chemist at Mt Ommaney Centre, Mt Ommaney Dry Cleaners, Jindalee Bowls Club, Jindalee Golf Club and TerryWhite Chemmart Brookfield. Our amazing retailers make absolutely nothing from your purchase, all profits are recycled in our community.
12.01.2022 Please check in with those that may like some help.
05.01.2022 We would love to chat with you about membership.
04.01.2022 We'd love to talk about how you can help repair the tears in our community.
