24.01.2022 Tomorrow is BMXday ( formally known as Sunday), 8th Nov, action starts 8.45am. see schedule below. For new riders who have taken advantage of the 4 week trial, please let yourself known at the canteen window, with proof of currency. This includes any MTB riders. Rider fee of $3 is required before entry to track. Please also be aware of the suitable clothing you will need to bring, this includes full-faced helmets and full-fingered gloves, long pants, long sleeved shirt, shoe...s and socks. Sunday is a busy day and we rely heavily on our volunteers to make this a success, so please be patient with us, as we may not be able to give our full attention to you and your rider the whole time, as we would in a normal "Come and Try" environment. For the regulars, if you see someone a bit lost, say hello and have a go at answering their questions. We have only one volunteer in the canteen tomorrow and thus will need some help with cooking , serving and signing people in. Any help is greatly appreciated. See more

24.01.2022 Tomorrow night is our last club race before the HutSix series at Jingili on Sunday 2nd May Volunteers are needed to help make the night a success. No time trials this week - riders are placed in divisions based on their average moto times from... previous races. This session will include warm-up exercises prior to entering the track, with guided skill set techniques, not your traditional open gate session. Please be ready to go by 5pm, track Open at 4.30pm to give you time to dress ( get gloves on) and sign in at the canteen. Session starts o...n-time! Cost $3 per rider. 5.30pm to 7pm For all riders 7yrs+ that are confident on the gate and track. Strengthening and Conditioning on and off the track. Must hold a current BMXA licence, and be prepared to do core strengthening exercises ( 5.30pm to 6pm) before going onto the track. 18.01.2022 Annual General Meeting, End of Year Awards and Christmas Party for Jingili BMX Club members On 13 December 2020 at 10:00am we will be running our 2020 Annual General Meeting with all positions being declared vacant. We need volunteers to fill committee positions and continue the club in 2021. If you are interested in joining the committee please see Jacqui at the track for a nomination form. The carpark will be open from 9am with a waterslide set up for the kids - please brin...g swimmers and towels - not bikes! Perpetual club awards will be presented to riders (over 8+) from 9:30-10:00 with the AGM to follow. Please bring a plate of food to share. Look forward to seeing you there.

Working Bee Jobs include - Sorting of recycling, taking recycling to Tomra, pruning of fence line and removal of green waste to tip. New participation (not timed/no transponders) race class offered for riders over the age of 7. Time trials/Divisional racing for all other riders over the age of 7 (born in 2012 or older), sprockets will race based on age.... 10.01.2022 Tomorrow will be our last open gates session before Christmas. 8:45 - 9:30 Mini Wheelers (balance bikes on the inside half) 9:30 - 10:30 Non-Gates and Beginners who need assistance 10:30 - 11:30 All riders who can start from the gate unassisted... Please note that the 11:30-12:30 session has been merged with the 10:30 session for this week. Transponders will be available at the track for $55 for riders who enter challenge class racing next year (born in 2013 / turn 8 at any time in 2021). These can be used from January 1st. Due to postage delays personalised number plates haven’t arrived; these are due early next week. Morgan will reach out to families once these arrive to arrange for them to be dropped off or picked-up.

08.01.2022 This coming Friday night will be our last club meet before the HutSix Northern Territory BMX Series on Sunday 2nd May. Riders can nominate for a club meet on the night at the registration hut. For riders who have a pre-paid race card you can now ( jump the que ) by nominating earlier by sending a message to our Facebook page up until the day before racing. Pre-paid race cards are available to any rider and can be purchased using eftpos or cash at any of our open gates s...essions during the week. For members wishing to use their NT school sport vouchers, please send these through to [email protected] before Thursday evening to allow for processing time. Club race entry fees are: $3 Mini Wheeler (balance bike), $8 Sprocket Rocket and $10 Challenge Class 8+ Riders (riders aged 8 or over as at 31 December 2021). 05.01.2022 On Sunday we awarded all riders of any age for their commitment to club racing only, ( minimum of 5/7), the "Mad for BMX" medallion. Club races are a non-trophy event but are very important for all riders to experience the "race" atmosphere and use the time to improve their skills. We encourage that you start your child racing as soon as possible, and they don't even need to go from the gate, as we accommodate for that too. So when upgrading your licence - make sure you pick the race one!
