05.01.2022 Hey Cats. The word is out but we are now making it official.... The Jive Cats wil be calling it a day at the end of this year. As individuals we have other projects that we will be pursuing and will obviously miss playing together but the time is right. This Christmas will be 3 years since our first gig at Erroll's birthday but it seems like longer! There are way too many people to thank for their help in the success of the Jive Cats who without would have been a harder road ...but you know who you are and what you mean to us. Although we started out with a different drummer, our Greek Adonis Sav has given us a huge amount of material for gags and fun and has been a fantastic member of the band and we will miss playing with him. Thanks so much to everyone who has faithfully supported us from the start and we will miss your faces and your dancing! We always say, never say never so don't be surprised if you see us pop up at a festival or a show here and there. We are all great mates and have agreed to consider dusting off if someone wants us bad enough! At this time, our farewell show will be at Hope Harbour Ramada on Sunday afternoon 30th of December. If this changes we will post it. As it gets closer we will be looking for numbers and reservations at the venue. Thanks so much all you Cats.... you have made our time a very FABULOUS one!! Yes, the Cats return to the fantastic Twin Towns this Wednesday from 7:30 for some great RnR, and our special brand of Rocka-Swinga-Billy. Then on Saturday we are set to Rock Club Banora at 7:45. (remember Banora has the best dance floor on the Coast) so make a date this Wednesday and Saturday to Rock and Swing with the Jive Cats, see you there....
