08.01.2022 Huge effort today resulted in the electrical connections being largely done (and temp) power and lighting on the the site as well as the start of plaster finishing. Great team effort that also involved quite a few local volunteers.

08.01.2022 Our first 2017 team meeting, off to a great start. See our pinned post for an update on dental donation collections. Super excited to get construction going on the dental clinic! #Rotary #Dental #PNG

07.01.2022 Great news the container is moving from Lae wharf. Thank you Frank Goi for making this happen

06.01.2022 Can you help with last minute dental donations? We had our first 2017 meeting today and are very excited to be sending materials for clinic construction and many dental donations up in a shipping container in 2 weeks time to our new clinic! To that end, if you have last minute dental donations from doing a new year spring clean and can drop them to us in the next week, we would love to have them! (Keep in mind we are a paediatric dental service in rural PNG so things like ...Fixed pros/Rotary endo/Rem Pros wont be offered). For Sydney and Tweed Heads/Northern NSW we have several drop off locations below in the comments - no need to message prior, can just turn up and drop off. For Brisbane/Sunshine Coast, please comment below and we will do our best to arrange a meeting place for pick up. Last day to do this to meet shipping timelines is Saturday 21st Jan. Thank you all for your support the past 2 years. We hope to finally have the clinic up and running mid this year!

04.01.2022 Container packed and ready to ship. It should be there for the team to come over 21/3/17

04.01.2022 Container arrived in Minj JIWAKA today. Vinyl floor will be laid next week and dental equipment ordered. Planning for teams early next year to come from Australia to install cabinets and fixtures. Moving forward we are looking forward to working with Dentists to get the clinic fully functional.

03.01.2022 Unfortunately we need to postpone our trip to Minj until 11th July, 2017. The last container we sent is still not cleared despite all the wonderful efforts of Frank. This is the first date available for us to return. In the meantime we have ordered the new equipment and flooring for the Clinic.

03.01.2022 We had a spontaneous reunion in Darwin tonight! Adrian and Peter are here for the Rotary Institute Zone 8 event and Dr Meng is passing through on her way to a Rotary Club of Shellharbour dental project in Timor Leste tomorrow. It was great to catch up and we look forward to updating you all on our project soon!
