24.01.2022 In late 2019 we took delivery of new Vawdrey A-Double trailer combinations to be coupled with our customised Performance Based Standards (PBS) approved Mack Granite prime movers to start our journey towards higher-productivity freight vehicles. In the early part of 2020 JJL were granted (PBS) route approval through the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) for 85 tonne GCM 30-metre A-doubles from Port Botany to our depot in Chipping Norton. Essentially allowing us to move 2 x 40’ containers per leg with one prime mover. These truck & trailer combinations are fitted with on board scales and Intelligent Access Program (IAP) monitoring which allows us to meet maximum weights under Heavy Mass Limit (HML) accreditation.
