22.01.2022 Hi Rockers. Finally, on a shoestring budget and in the spirit of DIY ethic, we have put together a very basic website: https://www.jjsguitarpickups.com/ Thanks to all those who offered to help with it, we do appreciate it!... It needs a few tweaks yet and probably a few things I don't yet know about. Maybe in future we will add a checkout function, but for now it enables browsing of the pickup models, pics, demo videos and contact details. At last the work of Ben Bailey and JJ has a home on the internet. You're all very welcome there. Head into messenger or email us at the contact page on the site to get yourself a set of pickups. Rock On People!!! Cheers, Ben.

06.01.2022 Hi Rockers, For all those off FB who need somewhere to contact us, we have a new website. Feel free to head over there for info on our pickups. jjsguitarpickups.com... It's being slowly updated as we come up with new designs and list them there. As it turns out, making pickups is a lot more fun than making websites! JJ is back in town and will be fulfilling your orders while I (Ben Bailey) try to find a new workshop. Yep, it's time to move! I hope you all had a relaxing and safe Easter and don't forget to - Rock On People!!! Cheers Ben and JJ.

03.01.2022 Easter News update G'Day Rockers, JJ's taking a well earned Easter break and is off climbing hills somewhere... So I'll be holding the fort here, available only on messenger or email for any tone inquiries, invoicing and builds. To get hold of me over the break, just hit the message button or email [email protected] or hit us up via the website jjsguitarpickups.com Any orders taken over Easter will have a slightly increased lead time. They'll be built right away, ...but shipped during the week following Easter. Price Update. Current 2021 Price List: https://drive.google.com//1k5JRua9z2zmaqQdw11Uf7ZHjnl/view When I started, there were many cheap shipping options but Covid ended all those. It's been a constant task to locate new suppliers and establish shipping routes for parts. Some of the parcels I was getting were USD10-15 two years ago are now over USD100 to ship. That's just the way it is and I'm afraid we can no longer absorb the cost. Now's the time to tell rockers out there to get in while they still can at current prices as they will go up by 10% on June 30. I never seek to create a sense of urgency around sales, that's not cool. I like to make my pickups affordable all the time for everybody. I've held prices as low as I can for about as long as I can and I'm sorry for the pending increase. So this is a heads-up 3 months in advance. Having said that, the price increase will be a modest 10% across the range. This ensures we keep up the quality and are able to continue to supply every rocker out there with the best possible build quality and tone at an affordable price. It also means we will be able to continue R&D into new pickup models, which I'm very excited about. Enjoy the new website, it's still a work in progress and needs much tweaking, but we're getting there! Stay safe on the roads out there over Easter rockers!!! Cheers, Ben Bailey.

01.01.2022 Hey Rockers, JJ's specialty, the Sweet '62 set. We tested prototypes and worked for a long time to get these into production. JJ is set up to make these and he's doing a fine job. There are a few sets out there now getting rave reviews, so the customers tell me! What makes these pickups work with synergy is the specialised "gauss map" individually calibrating each magnet by hand.... Too little gauss and they sound weak and loose the "cluck" in 2 & 4, too much and they can be overpowering and pull on strings. You don't need much magnetic power to make a pickup work and exactly where you put that power is critical. The balancing act required to be effective for most string gauges and fretboard radii is not an easy one, but we think we have nailed it. It's a straight drop-in for Lefties too. The Bridge has the baseplate for rounder bass and a smoother tone, it's over-wound for a bit of extra power - A pickup you can rock out on without sounding thin or shrill. We also spent a long time getting some '62 based tones - Frusciante-like tones from the Neck pickup, Knopfler-esque tone from position two and making these an all round balanced set that, hopefully, make you want to pick up the guitar and play. That's what JJ and I aim for, gear that just inspires you to play! Hear them on the video here, thanks to Brett "Burgs" Kingman for the fantastic demo he did! We really appreciate it Brett. $198 incl GST, $12.10 via Australia Post express, tracked. Covers available in aged white, neutral white, mint green, black or cream. Or we can install them in a loaded pickguard of your choice with all the best components - $298 incl GST, plus shipping as per above. Still available: Fat Toney, Hot Blues '59, The V12 Set and our Tele pickups too. Info on the website. Head into messenger here or visit the contact page on the website: https://www.jjsguitarpickups.com Rock On People!!! Cheers, Ben and JJ.
