24.01.2022 AKF Nationals 2018 over now, well done everyone in the Qld team and great effort by all the volunteers. Congratulations Lachlan for bronze in kumite on Saturday and for being selected in the children’s team kumite and Qld getting bronze. Alex missed play off for 3rd in kumite so result was equal 5th, great effort. Elli-rose good fight in your division first up Saturday and always improving. Thanks to Alistair for volunteering all weekend and Kylie for the continuing support. Time to chill for a tiny bit

22.01.2022 Good fun at Pomona King of the Mountain Corporate Tug of war. Won our first round to Cooran Cutters then lost to Noosa Council with Jesse Vines Paul Johnson Jack Johansen and Cody Mulder

21.01.2022 First tournament of the year done. Well done Lily and Summer in kata for your first ever tournament with a Silver and Gold. Great work Alex with 2 gold in Kata and Kumite. Thanks Lachie for stepping up and judging and Emily for helping with the girls. Big thanks to everyone at Sunshine Coast Martial Arts for a great day!

19.01.2022 Fantastic three days of training last weekend with JKA Chief Instructor Masaaki Ueki Shuseki Shihan, Ogura Shihan and Maii Shiina Sensei.

19.01.2022 Nationals Day 1 results - Elli-rose won her first round of kata which is what she wanted to achieve at this level. Lachlan won 2 rounds and lost in 3rd in a group of 45 boys. Alex unlucky to get one of the finalists in the first round and lost, same group of 45 boys. Emily lost a kata round, then won one in repecharge, missed play off for third. Emily then won a bronze medal in kumite. Well done!! The rest of the kumite is today.
