05.01.2022 Please be advised karate will be cancelled on Tuesday the 16th, if the lock down is extended all classes will be suspended until further notice.

04.01.2022 Looking forward to our first Open Competition with Naylor Sensei. With over 100 competitors this is going to be a first class event. See you next Saturday at Rowville Secondary College West Gym. Registrations begin at 9 am. Set up is Friday after 7 pm. Please contact Eddie if you can lend a hand. All competitors must have mouth guards.

02.01.2022 Congratulations to all my beautiful students who successfully graded yesterday. Everyone worked hard and performed really well. Well done kids. There will be no training for coloured belts until the last week of January. Special classes for brown & black belts will continue on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm starting next week & during January. There will be no dojo training Christmas week and New Years. Classes will restart Jan 7. We will be focusing on the shod...an syllabus, hips & stances, speed, power & spirit. Jason Sensei will be here March 8 for a seminar and for dan exams and accreditations. Only students who are ready now will be nominated to try for their shodan exam. The reason dan exam date has been moved forward to March is because Ueki Shihan will be in Melbourne is June which is when Sensei would normally conduct these exams. There is a selection tournament at the end of March for candidates trying out for the Australian team going to Japan in October 2020 for the world championships. Our summer training schedule will focus on preparing students for March 29 tournament. Please bring mitts & mouth guards to class. Please attend all of these classes to give yourself the best opportunity to be selected for the Australian team. Congratulations everyone & see you next week. Merry Christmas.
