21.01.2022 Did you know...?! This year we are celebrating 10 years of dance with JL Dance! Crazy to believe that 10 years ago I followed my heart and my dream! Something we encourage our dancers to do! ... I am forever grateful to everyone past and present that supported JL Dance Company and helped mould our dance community into the supportive and encouraging environment it is for our students and dance family. It has evolved over the past 10 years and even in the last few weeks of 2020. This is a second home for our dancers and a place where we believe in implementing life skills, building self confidence and encouraging them to pursue their dreams that they can carry forward into their future endeavours! 09.01.2022 A HUGE congratulations to these young dancers! We are super excited for all our dancers and their results with their ballet exam results with The Royal Academy of Dance. Congratulations girls!!! ... I am really proud of you all! This year has been a really hard year, from dancing online and juggling their online school learning - You have all been resilient through it all! From working on Laptops to iPads and mobile phones to access your classes it has been challenging to try and see different movements, trying to learning new exercises and apply corrections. I am so proud of all the girls and how they pushed through it all and everything happening around them from injuries, adjusting to COVID spaces in the studio and emergency operations and many more!! But They did it! And I am so proud of each one of you! You are so amazing and inspire me each day! Let’s celebrate and show these dancers some love!

Our dancers were absolutely amazing on that stage and really gave it their all - Each of them committed themselves to each performance and danced their little hearts out! ... We would love to share with you what we are passionate about and experience the fun we have at JL Dance Company. ... All you have to do is email [email protected] to secure your dancer a spot and let us know when you would like to trial a class - We will then send you our trial class information and our COVIDSAFE plan. . . Get in quick... We pride ourselves on limited sized classes and would want to make sure classes do not go over their capacity. If classes are at capacity these classes cannot be trialed due to limited sized classes. 05.01.2022 WE DID IT! It was ELECTRIC! Can you believe it ! How good was it to see our dancers take the stage yesterday! ... It was a very different EOY performance but... it was a COVID safe one! With 59 dance routines and four mini showcase performances, we did it! HUGE SHOUT OUT TO EVERYONE for their support, from my team to our dancers and from our parents to our volunteers! Thank you - Words cannot describe how amazing it was! It was electric !

03.01.2022 2020 WHAT A YEAR ! It has definitely been one of the hardest years for everyone! As we reflect on our time in 2020 there is one thing that we are sure of... And that is we are super grateful for our studio family! With all the curve balls that thrown at us we honestly did not know if we would get to see our dancers take the stage. It wasn’t the same as our normal but we did our best to make it close to it! From the unexpected bumps in our journey we take away the laught...er and the tears and unite together to become stronger than ever! . . No words can describe enough how grateful we are of our studio family! . . It is you who create our community to be so inspiring! The support network our dancers create with each other is like no other and it is has evolved even more leading up to the end of 2020! JLDC has shaped itself to get ready for 2021 and cannot wait to see the magic that dance can bring to all! . .
