All together there were 4 waves, killing approximately 50 million people. Citizens were ordered to wear masks .... OR GO TO JAIL ! Everything was shut down and boarded up ! Schools, Movie Theaters, all Businesses, Mail Delivery and Garbage Collection all stopped ! Many people had to dig graves for their own family members. Now, a 100 years later, what have we learned ? Half the people don't want to wear masks. They think it is a hoax ! It's not that bad. The government is lying. All just insane right wing conspiracy theory rhetoric ! People want to prioritize their narcissistic desires and privileges over other humans lives. What did they have in 1918 ? .... No TV .... No internet and not a lot of a food supply. What do we have ? TV .... internet .... movies we can watch in the comfort of our homes, Uber EATS .... you name it. Yet we are so full of entitlement and selfishness that lack human empathy and act oppressed when given any minute sense of responsibility. Travel is not a necessity ! Movie theaters are not a necessity ! Throwing parties is not a necessity ! Being a decent human should not be a revolutionary act, it should be common sense.
