23.01.2022 This is what a broken OC2 looks like after I’ve finished repairs. Remember this was snapped clean in half at the rear seat . Now look you wouldn’t even know . Any way it’s all primed and ready for a final wet sand either fine grade and it’s ready for painting woohoo stay tuned .

22.01.2022 The OC2 project . First coat on the top half . You woyluld know thang this canoe was snapped.

21.01.2022 A new acquisition to JLT . A Tempest Oc2 back from the dead . All broken pieces are all fused back together with some good 225 chop strand . And lots of patience. . Next is joint the rear top section and then the finishing starts . A good effort for a days work .

21.01.2022 Well this another freshly painted canoe all to back to the client .

21.01.2022 These are all the pics for the Ehukai OC1 repair . From separation to rebuilding the hull and fitting and shaping back into place . Now all that’s needed is a prime and repaint and we are ready to go back on the water woohoo

18.01.2022 Well the 1st OC6 project for Poly VA’ A OCC is all finished and the AMA iakos will be complete by the end of this week ready for a long overdue paddle . Boasting a nice new facelift.

17.01.2022 Another job done and dusted . A old ZULU OC1 . Repainted with nice fresh look ready for spring . Sunset yellow . A nice touch

16.01.2022 AMA and iakos for the 1st OC6 project . Well final coat goes on tomorrow and we’re done with that and the iakos are all epoxy weather sealed and finished . Now all that’s to be done is rig up and out on the water .

16.01.2022 Poly VAA canoe 457 is all finished and ready to be back on the water . AMA and iakos are all ready for Tuesday

15.01.2022 Some well earned work on the Tempest OC2 . Front gunnels repaired and flow coated, top section were damage was is now all repaired and flow coated , and the seam from the mid rear top sections left and right all re taped and flow coated and sealed off . So all the top section is all repaired. Now for the hull that’s going to be a bigger but not to hard to finish off . Stay posted more coming soon

14.01.2022 Well it’s a lot of prep work , but finally I’ve got the first coat of paint my own personal OC1 and it’s looking good next is the red coat transition and then a clear coat to finish off . Stay tuned for the end result I have added some new pics now have a look at what it looks like now .

14.01.2022 Top section of the OC6 for Poly VAA OCC . Gunnels all filled and refurbished. No cut hands now . Nearly done guys .

13.01.2022 Well it’s back together now . Both halves fused together now . Next step is to prep for painting.

12.01.2022 Another restoration to do . Another ZUUL OC1 with sever gel coat delamination . This what happens if it’s left out in the weather too long .

12.01.2022 Stage one of the restoration of this Old OC1 . Total strip back to original gel coat . Then patch and repair . Going to add a new innovation on this old timer . Watch this space more to come .

12.01.2022 Next project is my own Ocean Swell piarana OC1 . It had a bad case of severe hull damage and deck damage hidden underneath shitloads of bog which in turn weighed the boat down a lot and caused the swelling of the paintwork in various areas which was questionable anyway . So I’ve decided to strip it right back to the barebones and start again . So far the hull is done with proper flairing compound so I can get a smooth finish again and next will be upper section and seat areas . Once this is all done it is time for a new custom paint job . Stay tuned for this one .

12.01.2022 Tempest Oc2 repair . Hull is all repaired and flow coated . Wouldn’t even know this was snapped in half a few days ago .

10.01.2022 Well this project is all done and dusted. The tempest which had a broken back is back from the dead . Completely revamped with new steering system and rudder . Watterproof hatch for storage . Water testing next week .

06.01.2022 Finally finished . Puakea Ehukai OC1 back from the dead . Repainted rear end and solid as a brick now . also the AMA and iakos are done for my other project the Apache Wave Blade fitted with a Ocean Sewll AMA and custom iakos to suit . It’s been a busy week . Phew
