08.01.2022 Had some fun building a set in the Sydney film studios and getting some actors on campus to shoot some scenes with our RED cameras! Our Trimester 5 and 6 students are getting very close to starting on their major grad films.

03.01.2022 The Brisbane Film and TV crew are back today with another episode of Film it Fridays In todays episode, the team is going to show you how to shoot a professional and realistic fight scene in a few different styles. Definitely a must-watch for any filmmaker looking to add a brawl into an upcoming film!

02.01.2022 Our Brisbane Entertainment Management students put on an amazing Talent Showcase on campus last week as part of their Talent Development unit. These students were tasked with sourcing their own talent from around Brisbane to perform at this event, which they organised from start to finish. Its just one of the ways our course is practical and gives students opportunities to develop their skills and get them ready for their careers.

02.01.2022 MESSAGE FROM PETER GAINEY, DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL SERVICES We want to thank the international student community at JMC Academy for being adaptable and flexible under extraordinary conditions. We know it has been a time of great uncertainty and we commend you for persevering with your studies and engaging in our blended learning environment. We were pleased to see the governments announcement on Monday that they would stop charging visa application fees for international s...tudents whose studies had been disrupted by the Covid 19 pandemic. In early April, JMC Academy committed to reimbursing the base visa application fee for any of our students who had to prolong their stay in Australia due to pandemic-related disruptions. This was just one of our financial supports put in place to help our students survive this huge upheaval. We also introduced a blanket reduction of all international tuition fees to the same level as our local students. This applied to continuing and newly commencing students. Our team have also provided individual follow up for every international student to learn about their unique circumstances and determine what other support we can provide to those facing significant hardship. As we all live with some level of ambiguity and uncertainty over the future, we want to assure you that we are indeed all in this together. Though we are physically distanced, we can stay connected.
