20.01.2022 It's time to meet another member of the JMD team - Engineering Manager, Tobin Powell. Born in Brisbane and growing up in Northwest New South Wales, Tobin joined JMD Engineering in 2013. Attaining his qualifications through the University of Queensland, Tobin has a particular passion for design and construct projects across the mining and minerals processing sectors. This passion has seen Tobin lead his team through feasibility, construction, commissioning and handover phases on many high-profile projects. 04.01.2022 When not engineering or drafting up a storm, the JMD team get involved in all sorts of recreational pursuits. Several of our Bunbury staff have a passion for throwing themselves around on the beach - very much reminiscent of that famous scene from Top Gun - in the pursuit of beach volleyball glory. The JMD (or Jump Miss Dive) team play in the South West Personnel Corporate Cup, and whilst made up of JMD staff and partners, have been known to lure in the odd wild-card from o...utside the 'JMD Family'... Whilst the corporate competition is friendly, there's certainly the scent of competition in the air when our A-grade team takes the court. With 3 weeks to go before the nets and balls are dusted off and packed away for another season, the team are hoping to secure some late-season wins in the run to the finals.
