11.01.2022 The team at JN have been hard at work on an exciting project for Campbelltown City Council, NSW in partnership with Place Design Group. The ‘game changing’ water and recreation park for Western Sydney, known as the Campbelltown Billabong Parklands, has officially begun construction, and is expected to bring a new and exciting vibrance to the community. Our team have provided Civil, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Structural Building designs for this project. 09.01.2022 Designing the civil engineering aspects of a brand new shopping centre is more than just a carpark and some driveways. There is careful consideration for busy traffic flow, safe walkways for pedestrians, and a sturdy concrete loading bay as well. Our team also developed creative solutions for contamination waste that saved Woolworths a lot of money, contained said waste safely, and contributed to a more ecological outcome. At Uni, Steph completed her thesis exploring the design of Recreational Lakes, which won a number of awards. So highly regarded is her work that she was invited to speak at the recent NSW Coastal Conference and was awarded the "People's Choice" award.
