We always have a pep talk about consequences of not keeping the beater down and in the ingredients at all times. Of course, use your judgement whether your child is developmentally ready to perform the task with care. Mr 3 wasn't pleased about not being able to use the beaters, but assigned to the very important duties of bowl holding and beater licking.... #letskeepfingers #noonewantstocleantheceiling #kitchenassistants #needhelp #delegate #askthekids #startthemyoung #cookingskills #lifeskills #risksvsbenefits #safetytalk #foodinterest #kidsinthekitchen #learningaboutfood
04.01.2022 Improving family health and wellbeing always requires some sort of change but with busy lifestyles (and now a pandemic thrown in ), it's not always easy. This is why I recommend this always. We need to be realistic in working towards our goals, allow time to adjust, and not get too upset if we don't completely get there or struggle along the way. We also need to keep in mind that progress isn't always forward or upwards and it's the little things that add up to something big.
