14.01.2022 Day 3 & 4 have been packed full of activities, keeping us super busy! Thursday we headed to the Royal Highland Show, this was an awesome experience, similar to ...Sydney Royal & Field days minus the carnival rides. It was great to check out their cattle and wander the barns talking to people and learning their ways and ideas. We also got to see the judging of the Angus take place which was quite the spectacle. Day 4 - This was a team building day, all youth teams headed out to Commando 45 Marines Base for a day filled with tasks that challenged us physically and mentally and that bought the group closer. We all ended up very wet, muddy and exhausted but had a great time doing it all! We then scrubbed up and headed to Murray Field, for a Taste of Scotch Dinner with the other International Delegates. It was super cool being at the field and enjoying and learning some traditional Scottish dancing and music!! Tomorrow we head back to the Royal Highland Show to compete in the Stock Judging! 14.01.2022 Day 2 in Edinburgh- we were joined by the Angus Youth team and after much contemplation at the bottom, we decided the trek up to Arthur's Seat would be worth th...e view, and it certainly was! We continued to wander the city and then enjoyed a nice meal at the grass market! Today we look forward to beginning the Angus World Forum Youth Program, starting with presenting an introduction about our Junior Red Angus program in Australia and attending the secretarial meeting. 12.01.2022 Our Junior Red Angus WAF Team is about to jet set off to Scotland to represent our breed and our country in the youth competition! They are too excited and hope to do Australia proud. 11.01.2022 The Junior Red Angus Fundraiser was a huge success, raising a total of $20,910. Junior Red Angus cannot describe how truly appreciative they are of Elite Livestock for being our major sponsor in running this auction free of charge for us. We would also like to thank all bidders and successful buyers and of course each vendor for their generous donation. Without all of these people it would not be possible to send the Junior Red Angus team to Scotland for the World Angus Forum, and with such success of the auction we now will have some money to also put towards future scholarship/events within the breed. This sale has really set a great foundation for the the future of Junior Red Angus and we can't wait to work with members in creating further opportunities and hope they feel proud to have helped!

09.01.2022 Less than a week till the Junior Red Angus World Angus Forum Team leaves for Scotland to compete in the Youth Competition! Again, we would like to take an opportunity to thank our wonderful supporters for making this experience possible! These people, studs and businesses will be printed on the team polo shirt that will be worn for the agri skills, agri olympics and team building exercises throughout the competition!

01.01.2022 Do you love the Red Angus breed and want to get more involved? The Junior Red Angus Ambassador Award is again running this year. This award provides the recipient with a $500 travel bursary to a show, field day or program they wish to take part it. This year, the award also is a stepping stone into further involvement in the JRA program, the JRA committee and the National Show & Sale held in June at Dubbo Showgrounds.
