25.01.2022 2020 is starting off as a productive year so far. I've created a new body of work through the summer months in response to bush walking on Magnetic Island, Castle Hill and Cape Pallarenda. This new work is launching at Onespace Gallery, Brisbane, Saturday 21st March. Come along if you can. P.s It's my first show in Brisbane

24.01.2022 This trial print is #2 of rock prints made in response to oral stories shared by Gail Mabo in preparation for the touring exhibition Legacy: Reflections on Mabo showing at Umbrella Studio in July.

23.01.2022 A quiet moment in the new Umbrella Studio space before the doors opened to launch Accretion: Mapping the Landscape. A big shout out to Angela Little who couldn't be there. Thank you to everyone who came along to share in the fun. Cheers!

17.01.2022 Mind's Eye: Mapping the Landscape is installed and looking great. A big thank you to John, Jodie, Alicia and Tamika for all their support this week.

15.01.2022 The beautiful Gail Mabo and I in front of my work 'Bloodlines - Mapping the landscape'. Taken after the panel discussion for Legacy Reflections on Mabo. I'm so proud to be an exhibiting artist in this legendary exhibition.

14.01.2022 The title of my forthcoming exhibition is Accretion: Mapping the Landscape. (Accretion: growth or increase by the gradual accumulation of additional layers or matter) Hand stitching and collage has been used to explore the physicality of my experiences in the landscape. 12.01.2022 My phone is amazing! I just discovered that it can make short videos from my photos time line. It even puts music to it.

12.01.2022 Here is another detail image of Cortex - Cambiums, Townsville. The titles of my prints are a reference to what type of surface I draw inspiration from and the location. In this artwork Cortex and Cambiums is a reference to the bark of a tree with a secondary thickening.

12.01.2022 Happy birthday Angela! It was lovely to see you in Brisbane during my show x

11.01.2022 Another print from the new series of diptyches inspired by oral stories of place shared by Gail Marbo.

10.01.2022 It was really enjoyable spending time drawing and exploring Aligator Creek earlier today in preparation for my solo show at Umbrella Studio in September, "Accretion: Mapping the Landscape"

10.01.2022 I'm looking forward to sharing my new work with you. It feels like ages since my last exhibition in Townsville. Opens Friday 27 September.

10.01.2022 A big shout out to Mia Peronis at Eyeswide Imaging for creating this super video of the launch of my recent exhibition Accretion: Mapping the Landscape at Umbrella Studio Contemporary Arts 27 September - 3 November 2019

09.01.2022 Invites have arrived! Printed on a beautiful matte finish paper stock.

09.01.2022 This colour scheme is starting to be visible in the North Queensland landscape as summer is fast aproaching. https://onespacegallery.com.au//summer-magnetic-island-fo/

07.01.2022 I'm back in the studio today for the first time in a while, thinking about the starting point of my recent work. It was around this time last year as the seasons were changing. https://onespacegallery.com.au/prod/summer-nelly-bay-ridge/

06.01.2022 Some snippets of the absolute dreamy work we are exhibiting at the moment! Come on in and celebrate the end of year sales, awesome artwork and vast array before it finishes!!

05.01.2022 An important update regarding plans for my launch this Saturday at Onespace Gallery

04.01.2022 When my sister and I were growing up, we flew in planes from a very young age, including light planes with our dad when he worked as an arodata draftsman for mining companies. I wonder if those early experiences of the landscape are influencing my artwork. Detail of 'Accretion'

01.01.2022 The juxtaposition of colour and textures help describe my experience in the landscape. When walking and drawing I make multiple sketches of the journey. Back in the studio the prints come together as a map of the landscape traversed. Location 130km West of Townsville. Umbrella Studio Contemporary Arts 27 September -3 November

01.01.2022 A small print contributing to something of importance. I first accessed the APW Open Access Studio in 1995. As a graduate affordable rates enabled me, a low-income earner, the opportunity to make prints.

01.01.2022 A few photos of my exhibition at Onespace Gallery during an artist talk, one of many at the start of social distancing back in March. Thanks for the photos Angela
