I didnt know the why, how, what or even where ... You see my husband travels for work ... and my kids ... well they grow / are growing up ( and yes this was not an easy decision to come away - under the mask of " everything is fine" Im sure you know the one I mean ... underneath I was in turmoil !!!!! .. thankfully putting what I know in theory into my reality ... it became very doable ) Fast forward to now and I have a business I can take anywhere. 15.01.2022 I WENT SOLO!!!!!! HAVE YOU HAD TO SOMETHING WHEN THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION AND YOU ARE COMPLETELY AFRAID OF WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN? In June 2000 I was set to visit my sister. ... I hadnt seen her for over 2 years. She had emigrated to Canada a few years ago, and whilst I had visited with my husband, I had never gone solo. This was the only way I could see her. Not going was not an option. Excited. For sure. Nervous definitely. I have been on aeroplanes before. I knew she would be there to meet me at the other end. I had complete certainty in that regard. My fear was what would happen in between. Two flights to negotiate. On my own. I was petrified. I asked myself what was the worst that could happen? My answer was, I would get lost in the airport and I would miss the plane. I then asked myself Are you able to ask someone for directions, if there were no signs? My answer was Yes, of course, I could ask someone. Ok then, so really what would be the worst thing that could happen. I had no answer to that question. Result. Just like when we learnt to drive and the gear changes are a bit clunky and now you find that you can drive anywhere . . . . . . sometimes you may need Google Maps. As it is with Confidence. Some days no maps are required - some days confidence comes easily. Some days you require a map - some days confidence is a huge ask. When I first arrived in Australia, I needed Google Maps to get me to the supermarket and to the school, everyday. For months. I had no confidence that I could find my way. I had zero trust in my abilities to do so either. Nearly four years on and I can even go different routes at random. I still find streets Ive not been down! Because I know that my question that I always ask myself is - What is the worst that could happen? Confidence is a feeling. You can feel confidence through every cell in your body. It radiates. It can shine from your face like a sunbeam. It is fueled by honesty, truth and honour. You have the inner knowing that Youve Got This! You too can ask yourself the same question I do, - what is the worst thing that could happen? If you were to answer that question with complete honesty - what would your answer be? By asking yourself that question, and seeking your own answer, it will help you move through that moment of doubting yourself. Because if confidence is a feeling, then you can change your feelings. Feelings are not facts. We create our own feelings everyday. Just listen to a song that makes you recall a lovely experience. You then feel happy. Therefore, you would be able to piggyback a prior experience, where you did feel confident and recall how that specific event made you feel. 13.01.2022 Warning Are you scared of spiders ? I am ... well I was ... and boy do we have some big ones Down Under ... The thing is, I took on this belief when I was about 5 years old ... and it has been a belief I have had until recently .... WHY? A belief is a system of conclusions that weve created from our own life experiences, or that we have adapted from other sources such as family , schooling, our community, tv, movies and books. If we didnt have these beliefs our brains would be in utter chaos - I know right? !!! Theres already a heck of a lot going on in there already Beliefs give us some order to the chaos... So back to the spider story ... When I was about 8 years old, we had a spider called Fred that would run across our living room floor EVERY night once it got dark. He was BIG. And VERY hairy. I was petrified of the thing! Looking back ... I was taking on what my sister was doing ... screaming ... so I screamed too ( I love my sister very much ) Which I guess was completely normal for an 8 year old !!!! One night, Fred ran across the floor, my sister screamed, jumped on a chair and our dog ... a hardy, very fierce looking Staffie (aka daft as a brush ) jumped on top of her lap! Laugh!!! Yes we all laughed ... completely forgetting, in that moment , Fred the running like the clappers up the curtains! This story is not really about me or Fred, its really a story that we all could possibly relate to .... how our beliefs that weve taken on when we were children are still impacting our lives today. My belief was that I was afraid of spiders . I wasnt I just got caught up in a fantastic drama The thing is, beliefs can be limiting us from doing what we are called to do .... Limiting Beliefs may show up in the following ways ... Im not good enough for that promotion I dont have the right qualifications I need someone to take care of me, I cant do this by myself Flipping these beliefs around mean we become more empowered and have more internal certainty within us .... for example ... I am good enough and I can do anything if I put my mind to it I am intelligent enough to succeed I take responsibility for the things that I do And .... the spiders ... ... I take responsibility and deal with them appropriately - I do not scream anymore for my dad ( or my husband ) to come and rescue me .. 1. Because its a very long way for my dad and 2. Face time isnt that good .... yet 3. I havent actually seen a really big ... so well see what really happens then Turn YOUR magic on Jo Xo

07.01.2022 ONE OF THE CRUCIAL KEYS TO ENDING YOUR STRUGGLE WITH A DEBILITATING SKIN CONDITION AND HOW TO CREATE THE GLOW In 2006, When I was experiencing a really severe breakout of red, raw, dry flaky skin on my face I was very critical at what foods would pass my lips. My inner critic was governing what I was ... eating and deemed to be safe What I desperately wanted to avoid was any kind of reaction to what I had eaten. Because what I had noticed, was that I could eat certain foods with no reaction in one environment, but in another environment, I would break out in red, raw, hot itchy sores on my face. For example, when I went to the beach I could sit and eat anything I wanted, which for me was Fish and Chips I would treat myself to ice cream and even chocolate soaking up the view of the sea, the smell of the ocean and the sounds of the waves lapping on the shore. For me, pure joy. But, when I ate these foods at home, for example, potatoes, chocolate, ice cream my skin would break out in red hot, raw, sore skin over my face, especially my cheeks. It was then, I would feel completely embarrassed and ashamed of my appearance and then I would avoid going out. How could my skin respond to the same food, so differently? Because for me, the beach brings back childhood memories of fun, love, joy and laughter. Taking in the sights, sounds and smell of the ocean which is my true happy place. I would feel calm, relaxed and completely be in the moment. What my experience has taught me, and this is backed by scientific evidence, is that what was causing the breakout of red, raw, itchy skin is not what we put into our bodies or what environment we are in. It is caused by what goes on in the depths of our minds our beliefs. How and what we think, act and feel plays out within our everyday life. When we have an imbalance in our mindset, it reveals itself physically ... This can be internally, or externally. For some of us it is our skin. 07.01.2022 HAVE YOU BEEN EXPERIENCING EMOTIONAL EBBS THAT UNSETTLE YOU? Current times may have triggered some unfamiliar emotions within us. Emotions such as sadness, a sense of loss, and a feeling of grief, because the life we once had has now gone. ... Some things you may be feeling emotional over might be - # sadness - that you are unable to have a face to face chat with a girlfriend # downhearted - because personal contact with your son, daughter, or even parents has ceased # horrified - at the number of people that this outbreak has touched These are all valid and completely human and are for us to experience during these rare times. Bring so much compassion to yourself if you find yourself in this situation. You are not alone. Many of us have experienced an outpour of emotions that we dont know how to fully express because we have been conditioned to suppress them. Suppressing our emotions has led them to become trapped within our body. They are unable to flow through us, and can result in physical conditions such as heart conditions, sleep irregularities, stress and anxiety. All emotions are meant to be felt. ALL are to be experienced. Felt fully, no matter how long it takes. There is no rush in this place. Honour the process. Moved through us. Released. Experiencing our emotions is a core human experience. Emotions are our driving force. Being able to express your emotions will allow you to expereince a deeper connection with yourself, your partner, your family and other extended relationships. WHY is this .... ... your brain is using is using its search function ... just like GGLE only our brains seem to switch said GORGEOUS top - to Number 1 Top search You see, we require some sort of search engine to anchor what is already chaos/ chatter/ manic in the head roommate for some order ..... and theres heaps going on inside that baby TIP this is the same search engine that is in control when we think negative thoughts Like - I cant do that // Im not good enough// Heres the thing - FLIP YOUR THINKING turn up the dial on the FABULOUS things You may not be able to make all those people with the same top you love instantly vanish however .... More positive things will start to appear Even if you dont think so, thats ok .... BECAUSE your brain wont know that Play the JOKER ..... and very soon your brain wont even know the difference Give it a go my loves ..... its so fun!

04.01.2022 STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES When I was 8 years old I became a Perfumer! Myself and my best friend gathered rose petals. ... We washed them, pressed them and decanted them into old perfume bottles. We tried to sell them to passers-by. We never sold any! We had such fun collecting the petals, chatting, playing with the oil, smelling, testing and feeling like we were up and coming french perfumers! Since those fun times, roses always evoke wonderful memories for me. I recently discovered something that is really game changing regarding the rose. Smelling roses actually has a physiological effect on our body. Let me expand: The Vagus Nerve which is the longest cranial nerve in the body - just think of it as the super highway nerve of the body, links the brain, heart and gut and other major organs. When you smell a rose, it actually engages the rest and digest response. By switching on the Vagus Nerve, or lighting up the superhighway of our body, it can help us move from our sympathetic nervous system or stressed space to our parasympathetic nervous system or our relaxed space. When your Vagus Nerve is not functioning in tip top form it can decrease your ability to deal with stress, overwhelm, anxiety and also many other conditions in which you may experience high levels of inflammation within your body. Combined with other strategies that I use with my private clients and personally, the results when combining mind and body are super effective and sustainable. 03.01.2022 DO U C WHAT EYE C? Have you ever walked past something or someone and not noticed them? I have. Many times.... Sometimes we get caught up in our own worlds. Sometimes we just don’t see what is outside of ourselves. What happened today was an eye opener. I noticed ‘something’. ‘Something’ which was right in front of me...literally! Walking around the local park with our dog, I noticed something that I had been missing. Thing is, I had missed this ‘something’ everyday for the last seven months! I stopped dead in my tracks. My eyes were now fully open to what was in front of me. The fallen, overgrown trees were disused show jumps. I could imagine the horses competing in the ring. What a show ground this must have been. Now being seen through the same eyes - different lens. Every second, information is being perceived through your senses and because we cannot make sense of it all, we only take in a portion of what is really there. We delete - ignore some details completely. We distort - change some details to fit our view. We generalise - expand details to mean more than they do. Our brain subconsciously decides how to do this by deleting, distorting and generalising the details to fit with our past experiences and what we have been conditioned to believe is true. We all subconsciously choose what we see. This means that there are always versions of reality that we are missing out on. I wonder what else is going on in your world that you are missing? What wondrous things are you missing out on from your view of the world? How can you expand your awareness even more? What would happen if you chose to pay attention to a different perspective? Most of the decoding of our world takes place through our brain. However, there is another powerhouse involved in us fully functioning. It is our heart. When we are able to tap into our heart space we become awakened to our truth. This sensational powerhouse is able to override the brain. When you trust your heart you can only come from a place of love. The heart knows not the language of lies, deceit and jealousy. The language of the heart is love. Would you like to learn to drop into your heart space? Where you too can move from 'being in your head' and all the chaos that can bring, into the calm, peace and trust your heart gives you? A lot of words that we are hearing right now are making us feel agitated, uptight and on edge. Sometimes, this is unconscious. We dont even realise. For example, when you hear people talk about # I cant see my extended family or friends # Im so stressed that the grocery stores have limited stock # I cant handle not being able to go for a drive This might bring up feelings of anxiety, overwhelm or stress. We cannot change how the words have been spoken to us, but we can change the words we choose, and how we respond to these. By changing our vocabulary we can change how we are feeling about our world. This enables us to become better equipped with what we hear around us and impacts us by how we are able to manage our emotions. For example, the conversations may be the same, but by making small changes, the conversation can feel lighter and the stress dissipates. For example # I cant see my extended family or friends, becomes Were having a staycation and keeping ourselves safe. # Im so stressed that the grocery stores have limited stock, becomes There is always stock being delivered # I cant handle not being able to go for a drive, becomes I am grateful that myself and my family can enjoy quality time together This shift has a calming effect on your mind because you have created a flip from a sense of lack into a state of abundance. 01.01.2022 ARE YOU THE TYPE OF PERSON WHO REACTS RATHER THAN RESPONDS, ONLY TO THEN FEEL GUILTY AFTERWARDS? If thats a yes, then heres a strategy for you to keep calm and carry on . . . I used to be this way too . . until I learned what Im about to teach you . . . ... A week ago, I was walking my puppy, Brody and our paths crossed with another puppy. The other puppy went completely submissive and reverted to lying on her back. Legs akimbo. Cute. Very cute. What I observed was the owners reaction. She started shouting at me to control my dog, You should have him under control She went into panic mode, based on her experience of the situation. . . I remained calm and firm with Brody, based on my experience of the situation. . . I encouraged pup to get up. She and Brody sniffed. She became curious. Playful. She went from submissive response to playful within moments, all because my reaction was considered and calm. Awesome result. All whilst this woman was shouting at me. I used to react, with frustration and panic, just like this woman did. However, in the past years of learning about human behaviour and how our internal world shapes our behaviour and our reality, I have learned . . . Your mind is in control of how your respond to any event in life. If you choose to let your inner world be chaotic, then chaos is what you will experience. Alternatively, Your mind, should it remain calm, is capable of allowing you to respond with grace and poise, solving problems efficiently and avoiding interpersonal issues. If you are someone who feels panicked and tends to overreact sometimes, as this women did, and I used to, then . . . to invite calmness into your life, here are a few simple steps . . . 1.Breathe. Sounds simple. It is. Take a deep breath, right into your belly and breathe out slowly, at a comfortable rate for you. Then do it two more times. - this will assist you to ease out of that fight or flight mode which can be adding fuel to the fire. 2. Check in with how you are feeling. Take a moment. If you are feeling agitated, close down your eyes, place your hand over your heart, and start counting down from 10, slowly. Breathe in and out as you do so. Once you reach zero, check in and assess how you are now feeling. 3. Ask yourself this question - what would calmness do in this moment?
