23.01.2022 Reflecting on Friday and feeling honoured to have partnered with @mia_cassin for the @shirepinklunch the entire day was full of love and emotion supporting breast cancer patients. Thank you to the Mayor of Sutherland Shire, Carmelo Pesce for opening the event and for Georgia Love being an incredible (and stunning) host. But mostly thank you to all the incredible women who attended and helped us raise money for a much needed and great cause

09.01.2022 A HUGE thank you is needed for the incredible team @curvessutherland both Jacki & Lynda (pictured) raised an amazing $3,200 for the foundation in the month of October. This was achieved by a silent auction, 2nd hand book stall, cash donation bowl, number boards and a raffle Over the years these wonderful ladies have raised an astounding $56,510 for JMBCF, all going directly back into the pockets of women who so desperately need assistance! #happysaturday #communitysupport #curvessutherland #jmbcf

03.01.2022 COVID 19 UPDATE FROM JMBCF We are all aware of the impact Coronavirus has had on businesses small and large. Families and individuals are struggling to make ends meet and sadly, non-profit organisations are not receiving the donations we need to survive. It is with a heavy heart that we announce that this year we will be unable to hold our annual Mothers Day High Tea. ... This is due to social distancing and lock down laws enforced by our governments to ensure the safety of the community. Although this pandemic has forced us to push pause on our daily lives, Australian statistics show that 53 women are still diagnosed with breast cancer every single day. That is over 19,000 every year. As we are a non-profit organisation run entirely off donations from the public, sadly the cancellation of this event will have a huge financial impact on us which will directly affect our ability to do the work we do to care for these women in need. It is now more than ever that we need the support of our community. If you have the means to do so, please dig deep. The link to our donations page is listed below This pandemic will end and we will fight to remain standing at the other end! Please stay safe! Lots of love, The JMBCF Team https://www.joannemackaybreastcancerfoundation.org/donations

01.01.2022 A HUGE thank you to Russell Vale Golf and Social Club for raising an incredible $4,200.00 for women who truly need it! This is an annual event in honour of Kerryn McCann. Kerryn was an Australian Marathon runner, who won gold at the Commonwealth Games. Sadly Kerryn passed away in December 2008 from Breast Cancer. We are so lucky to have support from organisations like Russell Vale Golf and Social Club, it’s community support like this that keeps us running year on year.
