25.01.2022 Have you got a blade cover? Do you use it much? I can’t say I use mine lots but I definitely wouldn’t be without it! Used it the other day to make a double batch of the mango chicken curry, put this on as I had longer cooking time and ensured the meat held together better. Used it the next night to reheat the curry (love the reheat function) on Thermie! You can purchase them on the mixshop - don’t forget to choose your favourite consultant when you purchase anything from the ...mix-shop and if you don’t have a favourite one feel free to choose me https://thermomix.com.au/products/blade-cover

24.01.2022 Busy morning in the kitchen.....

24.01.2022 Dinner tonight from the new Sam Woods collection, Turkey rissoles and kale slaw well really silverbeet slaw!! I’m not a kale fan and have silverbeet going berserk in the garden so just substituted it. Made the red curry paste earlier in the day to go in the rissoles. It was pretty tasty - got leftovers for lunch tomorrow so will reserve my verdict til then but so far wouldn’t say it’ll be on high rotation. Anyone tried anything else from this collection? Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo: Turkey rissoles and kale slaw https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r644185

24.01.2022 Here’s hoping Master 6 Everything is too spicy loves this mango chicken curry tonight as much as he loves fresh mango. I’ve used ripe, sweet mangoes so am sure he will.......stay tuned! Anyone got any suggestions for how to get young ones to start eating ‘spicier’ food? https://www.recipecommunity.com.au//qaym3143-5a94d-398764-

24.01.2022 When you feel like you’re constantly chasing your tail - work, uni, family responsibilities, motherhood, household ......just life really! Good to have some back up meals ready - one of the easiest is Thermie made pasta sauce ready to go over some sort of pasta! Dinner in 20minutes with very little prep.....now onto the rest of life. What’s your go to, too much going on, meal for dinner??

24.01.2022 If you're looking for some inspiration look at this fantastic virtual event that is on! Don't worry if you can't make the times - you'll get the recordings sent to you to watch at a late date! Plus you get the chance to win a TM6

23.01.2022 Last few days for this great offer and with 36 months interest free now’s the time to get a Thermomix on your bench!

23.01.2022 First day of school holidays here - I wish I could say we got a sleep in but alas....although 6am is getting more regular so things are getting better! American style pancakes from the BCB are our favourite pancakes. I love this cup cake pen for pouring the mixture out and also we can store in the fridge and use the mixture on other days. Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo: American-style pancakes https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r66932

22.01.2022 So instead of doing my pot set yoghurts in small jars - this time I did it in my 2.2l thermoserver (the one that came with the TM31). I still did my puréed fruit on the bottom - delicious and easier to clean then the jars!! If you’re interested in doing this but don’t have a 2.2l thermoserver - why not host a cooking experience in October and you can purchase one, or even better earn one for free if someone purchases at your cooking experience.

22.01.2022 Been wanting to try this for awhile - meatballs in red pepper sauce. It was delicious - despite using red onions and onion powder as I’d run out of brown onions and I forgot to put the parsley in - anyone else have nights like that in the kitchen? I served on mash potatoes but think it’s be great on rice or cauliflower rice too. Anyone else made it? How do you serve it? Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo: Meatballs in red pepper sauce https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r250210

20.01.2022 It’s my beautiful Dads birthday tomorrow and I’m in the process of making him a birthday cake. Do you know what Thermie made ingredient this is going into the cake? It’s another one of those things that I would never have made pre-Thermie, but I making my own and it saves me money! Winning!

19.01.2022 Well tomorrow is October - and if you’ve got a BBQ lover in the house it’s a great time to order a Thermie. If you’re a baker - you’d best contact me now to get the rose gold cookware for free when you purchase your Thermie

19.01.2022 So this slice scored me a proposal today . Had a meeting for work so whipped this up last night - said to drizzle passionfruit over the top but when you’ve got passionfruit curd in the fridge waiting to be used......why wouldn’t you??? Anyway one of the Doctors said if I made that slice would I marry him Sorry already married .........Well will you at least make this for me regularly?? You’d best try it..... let me know what proposals you get https://www.recipecommunity.com.au//dhgdkgjm-50b9b-702351-

17.01.2022 You know one of my favourite things about Thermie is doing things from scratch. Often it’s quicker to whip something up then drive to the shop and buy it. This was the case with the condensed milk I needed for a slice - a few basic ingredients and less then 5minutes in Thermie.... condensed milk made. This recipe is easy to double too What basics do you like to make? Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo: Condensed milk https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r260551

17.01.2022 This has been on my to try list for ages!! Well worth the wait! I added a carrot and zucchini with the onion and garlic (can never hide too many veges in a meal!!) Will definitely make again https://www.theannoyedthyroid.com//28/thermomix-beef-riso/

16.01.2022 Dinner tonight - experimenting with the sous vide function. Moroccan Lamb - didn’t do the chopped salad because we’ve got colds and avoided the shops . My meat was quite tough - not sure if this was just my meat or that I put two chops in each bag - anyone done any sous vide cooking before and got some answers? The marinade though was DELICIOUS will definitely use this again, would go well on chicken too. The chopped salad looks pretty delicious too so think I’ll try again at some stage. Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo: Moroccan Lamb with Chopped Salad https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r464212

16.01.2022 Looking for a quick guide to steaming? I really do love my varoma. Do you use your varoma or is it hidden away in the cupboard somewhere?

16.01.2022 Lemon and passionfruit curd - 5 minutes prep and 15mins in Thermie. Yummmmmmmmm Other than eating it straight from the jar how else would you use it?

15.01.2022 Been a little quiet on here if late as have been busy getting assignments in and then away for work. Lots of Thermie action planned this week though! What about you - any Thermie recipe recommendations, something new you’ve tried?

15.01.2022 If you’re looking for a yummy salad as the weather starts to warm up can recommend this Skinnymixers one! Anyone got any other salads that serve as main meals as well? Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo: Red pesto chicken salad https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r540609

15.01.2022 What have you used Thermie for today?? Pizza dough, grated cheese, pre-made Thermie pizza sauce. Can you tell which is my pizza and which one is Master 6? Hint: there’s a vege on mine that Master 6 is not so keen on!!

15.01.2022 Oh my goodness - away from social media for a day and look what I missed! Starting tomorrow.....less then the price of four coffees a week or one takeaway!

14.01.2022 This has been in my to try list for I don’t know how long! Finally got organised last night to cook it and will definitely make again - flavoursome not spicy could add some extra chilli. Yum - have come to terms with having to make two meals if I want curries. Pizza night for master 5 & curry night for me. What’s your favourite curry? Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo: Chicken Curry with Spinach https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r88812

14.01.2022 I’ve had my TM6 for nearly 2 months so far and I can honestly say it is my FAVOURITE model (I’ve owned the TM31 & the TM5 as well). Here’s my reasons why it is my favourite and why I can’t wait to get a second TM6 on my bench: the integration of cookidoo into Thermie The fermentation mode... The high heat function The slow cook function The sous vide function - even though I’ve only used it once so far I love that it encourages me to experiment - one of my favourite things about cooking. BUT by far I love the technology - meaning any new functions can be added to your Thermie. Today we got an email to say the following updates and improvements are coming to our TM6: Recipe videos - step by step videos showing you how to create the delicious recipes and try new techniques New egg boiler mode New warm up mode - reheating food has never been this easy Enhanced pre-cleaning mode How exciting!!! With this great offer on and 36months interest free nows the time to get a TM6 into your kitchen! Just let me know when you’re ready!!

14.01.2022 When you’ve been away and come home to find your cherry tomatoes overflowing .....whipping up this tomato pasta sauce, will let you know how it turns out. Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo: Tomato pasta sauce https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r67999

13.01.2022 Who’s going???

10.01.2022 Thai Chilli Chicken Basil - I haven’t done this for AGES - you’ll find it in the BCB, simple and flavoursome! Used Thermie made sweet chilli sauce and homegrown basil, coriander and chilli What are you having for dinner this Saturday night? Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo: Thai chilli chicken and basil https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r68556

10.01.2022 Been on my to try list for awhile - only has a rating of 3.8 but have read some good feedback. Will let you know what I think and also I’m getting fussier the older I get Master 5 thinks ... Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo: Cheeseburger Quiche https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r400873

08.01.2022 Meatballs in tomato sauce - I made this yesterday and transferred to my slow cooker to cook as I needed Thermie for other things. Today I used the warm-up function to reheat for dinner. Reheated at 75deg which was perfect for Master 5, I’d go hotter if it was just for me. I used the pasta sauce I’d made the other day in it - I thought was delish , Master 5 left the meatballs and ate just the pasta and sauce Unfortunately he’s getting fussier as he gets older!! Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo: Meatballs in tomato sauce (TM6) https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r543350

04.01.2022 Tip of the day: spend 1 second looking into your bowl when you drop dry ingredients (spices, yeast etc) into the bowl. You want them in the bowl not on the blade like this!!! This is the marinade for my lamb chops that I’m cooking using the sous vide method tonight ....will keep you posted on how it turns out.

04.01.2022 Birthdays are for celebrating! Dad requested a carrot cake for his birthday - the Caribbean carrot cake from Cookidoo is pretty delicious! Has to be lemon cream cheese icing in our house though - not vanilla like the recipe says and I don’t use butter, just cream cheese, icing sugar and lemon juice. Can you tell who helped to decorate the cake.....and who blew out the candles? Look at this delicious recipe I found on Cookidoo: Caribbean carrot cake https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r69083

02.01.2022 Who wants to host a cooking experience?? Promise you will learn lots of hints and tips..... Can be done virtually or in the real world and YOU get rewarded for hosting! Contact me to find out more....

02.01.2022 Roast tonight - lamb done in slow cooker and veges done in Thermie. I steam the potato, sweet potato and pumpkin for about 20minutes before putting them in the air fryer - they come out much crispier! Everything is staying warm in the thermoservers whilst I wait for the boys to get organised for dinner! What are you having for dinner?
