Even though I have the right skills when I apply for the position." --- You need a strategy to achieve your goal. First you need to identify a realistic goal, based on current skills, based on aptitude, based on current knowledge, based on what's available in the local labour market. ... The job goal must also match your personal interests. Identify where those jobs are. Be very specific about the job title(s) or companies/organisations you want to target. Ensure you fully understand all of the duties of the role and that you are suitable to the position. Research any prerequisite training that is essential for the job. Think about personal contacts, social groups, sporting affiliations, community networks, family, friends... anyone who can help introduce you to a manager or decision maker related to your target company/job title. Or consider cold canvassing directly to the places you want to work. You will need a bloody good reason for them wanting to give you a shot. This means having a strong "pitch" ready to go. If you want guidance or assistance with this process there are people like myself who do this kind of thing. It's called "Reverse Marketing". Google it. Throwing a question into the wind to see what will come back... not nearly as good as having a tailored strategy to reach your goal. Good luck

I currently work at a pizza shop doing night shifts (5.30pm onw...ards) I'm looking for a day time job preferably Monday-Friday.
