25.01.2022 Keeping an eye on your form and technique, making sure that your squats are clean. Increasing heavier loads as we progress pays off in strength but especially when lifting under fatigue!

It was at the height of Covid-19 and creating a safe place for 1:1 client training became an utmost mission for me as gyms were closing, and my clients were concerned about their health and well-being. 22.01.2022 Maintain the flow!! No, not quite the yoga pose although the movement involved in the back extension exercise can appear like one. This back extension workout is a great way to strengthen your lower back and core and primarily, builds the muscles in your butt, hips and shoulders, improving your posture and lower back pain.

Try this workout ... 3 sets x 20 reps, rest 90 secs after each rep. 21.01.2022 Anchor points: Stay consistent with your training. Eat well and choose nutritious meals. Plan your meals/get a healthier meal plan.... Lay off the booze! (ie. excessive drinking) Drink more water and keep hydrated. Get an early night’s sleep and ensure that you have appointed recovery days. The results of your hardwork will pay offcreating a happier lifestyle, maintaining mental and emotional stability, developing healthier attitudes and being in top physical shape, all of which will support you and your goals! 20.01.2022 Holding that stance is not easy especially when your trainer loads on the weights. But my client is a champ and hes owning it, holding strong... the grind is real!! The bear hold or bear plank is an extra challenging full-body workout. It may seem like an easier workout but you quickly realise, your whole body is working and it creates such a in your body, especially when the sets are set towards the end of your strength training program and not at the beginning!! To be honest, I’m more of a Karate Kid guy, but I can’t fault a good movie like Casablanca! What’s your favourite go to movie? What are you doing to give yourself time to recover from your busy week, today? ... Remember, recovery days are just as important as your training days. Rest is essential for muscle growth. Exercise creates microscopic tears in your muscle tissue but during rest, cells, known as fibroblast repair it assisting your tissuesto heal and grow, developing stronger muscles. Happy Sunday
