22.01.2022 Annika Ussel, our placemaker at JOC just came back from building a public lounge and altar at Burning Man! The activation she created with her two best friends was inspired by Mayan traditions and culture. The Burning Man project is a temporary city governed by 10 principles that over 70,000 people call home for a week! This place of absolute freedom of expression and creation inspires Annika to think about places in creative new ways. A big shout out to Ubuntu, a beautiful project that showcases artisanal design and creates spaces that promote meaningful human connections.
