24.01.2022 { MR & MRS MUSCAT... } Talk about getting punched in the feel zone. Hard. Everything come together beautifully just as the guys had hoped for out at Dolphin Heads Resort. The sun was shining and the breeze was just right. It was a very laid back and casual affair, with the right amount of party and a whole bunch of L-O-V-E thrown in. ... Styled to perfection by the legends at Starcut Flowers with the floral arrangements and bouquets by the impeccable K Mac Florals. I've known KLH & Donald since we were whippets getting about in our high school days, and then working alongside Kirsty in my Optical Tech days. This one was such a pleasure to be part of the ride for/ dance floor ;) Its pretty dam great getting to be a part of such a monumental day in peoples lives, let alone friends youve known in what feels like a lifetime. 24.01.2022 { MR & MRS ATTARD... } Boy sees girl at bar, boy asks girl to dance & I guess the rest is history. Who said romance is dead? Matty & Bec, got hitched yesterday 9 years after that lap on the dance floor and were swamped in love and a heck load of laughs as they said their "I do's". ... Its always a pleasure to be asked to photograph a mates wedding, it to me really is a pretty big deal, but this one was one I couldnt knock back. I knew that this would be a day where the laughs just would not stop, and I wasnt wrong. These guys aside from being incredibly adorable, were just so cruisy and laid back it really was easy work...and when the bridal party is a pack of larrikins it makes for a bloody fun ass day! #WTFisAPiccolo? The speeches had everyone dabbing their eyes thanks to the two beautiful Mothers of the newlyweds, and in proper hysterics thanks to the MC Brendan (even if Guimelli wasn't first choice) then The Bestman brought the house down with tales from days past and a little "marital advice" to round out the speech. These lovers said vows high atop Lamberts Beach, surrounded by only a few in on the sneaky and, thank to the EPIC talents of Brendon from Aerial Photographic Solutions - Mackay Jonathans parents were able to watch the ceremony LIVE all the damn way from the USA! So rad!... Sal & Jono pulled off a fun as fck wedding, with every element a reflection of themselves and each of their upbringings and passions. Incredibly this all on the back of hosting a massive fundraiser for the Royal Flying Doctors Service and All Abilities Mackay. Two damn fine humans it was such a pleasure to get the call up can hang for the whole weekend. Legends. Xo....
23.01.2022 { MRS & MRS WILSON... } A little bit of Glasgow came to Earlando. Ainslie & Rob trekked half way' round the globe to say "I Do" infront of many loved ones (and a few cheeky devils). After meeting 5 years ago, when Ainslie packed her bags and moved to Scotland for post Uni studies, this pair had an Aussie wedding with many of the Scottish traditions, yes kilts were included and yes what they say about those kilts is true... Each tartan represents the family and its township o...rigins ;) It really was a spectacular day, traditions and grand entrances aside (Rob) it was a day that was full of laughs, a whole bunch of love and a bridal party that commandeered MY CAR and turned it into a nightclub as I watched it drive off, loaded with the bridal party down a hillside! It is with a heavy heart that I've decided to close bookings for 2019 and leave it open to friends & for personal projects. This is not somthing I've decided to do lightly, but it is something that I need to do, to reboot and recharge the damn engines. I'm fkcn spent. ... If you're still reading, this image was captured back in 2016 inside a Glacier in Iceland. The series of images I took inside that Glacier continute to ignite a spark inside me that I really need to get back. The Weddings I have booked in for this year, rest assured, I'm comin' at ya hard and ready to do some cool AF shit, thats not changing. What is changing? We got this bit$hes* Chris & Gemma chose the stunning Palouma Range to say their "I Do's" at the McLellans Lookout. With 65 of the nearest and dearest to them. The couple exchanged rings and made their own ring vows before heading off to Hidden Valley Cabins for a night of food, drinks and dancing fireside under a canopy of fairy lights (YESSSSSS) ... A bunch of hilarious speeches and a very special Mother-Daughter dance followed, the band kicked into gear and it was a night to remember! The 12.5 hour drive was worth it, incredible guys! 18.01.2022 { MR & MRS NICOLAI... } When Matt & Georgie told Georgies' parents they wanted to get married near the family farm's dam, little did they know, that when they came back a week later (legend) Dad had got in dozers from neighbouring farms and had a massive area cleared. It was 12 months of hard work, but heck it was STUNNING. Much like the way Matt looked at Georgie. All. Damn. Day! We all meet up before the ceremony for Nadine & Ryan's first look and to take some bridal party snaps, but most importantly family photos with Isla & Brego, the doggo fam. ... It was then the soon to be newlyweds piled into the stretch Hummer and headed off to the gorgeous Herveys Range Heritage Tea Rooms where we continued wedding portraits before the ceremony where friends and family joined in.
