25.01.2022 It felt very cathartic making this little piece. It’s mixed media and encaustic (wax) on an old piece of board. I’m going to hang her as a kind of beacon of hope for the future

24.01.2022 You may or may not know that I am a huge fan of upcycling/recycling using vintage bits and bobs in some of my pieces. Today I was looking for some ‘bits’ and came across some old earrings made by ME in the late ‘80’s when big earrings were ‘big’. Anyhow one of my lovely friends had bought these from me way back when and then gave me a big box of old costume jewellery when she did a big clean up. I am so delighted to give them yet another go around in some new jewellery I am making. Made me chuckle inside. Thank you @robbie52a

24.01.2022 Another piece for a project I am putting together. Not quite finished and will give her some space for a bit. It’s on A3 canvas and can’t begin to tell you how many layers it contains but loved the process and experimentation. Even some sewing at the end

23.01.2022 This piece was created after the terrible massacre in NZ last year. It’s called ‘Love always wins’ and was done in collaboration with sculptor Ted Moran. After a stint at Redhill Gallery she went to an exhibition in Dalby recently and was sold before the opening. May her message ring out

22.01.2022 Doing up this inspiration and memory wall made me......totally happy! Old photos and postcards, memories of wonderful galleries overseas and some swatches and experiments of mine. Can’t recommend doing it highly enough. Now back to work.....

20.01.2022 These 3 ceramic angels are on their way to a new home for Christmas. Loved creating their little personas

17.01.2022 Holy Moly that was a steep learning curve. Just added my first product to my 'shop'. This labour of love is The Yellow Princess. She took many hours to create and I threw caution to the wind with experimenting with many techniques within the piece. My lovely neighbour Joe Kylie Cirillo helped me finish her. On the back of her neck it says 'Love one another that's all'. I love the bee on the front of her neck. Let me know what you think

17.01.2022 This piece called ‘With bells on’ literally has bells on it. It also proudly bears tags saying live, joy and peace. Her head nods sagely due to being connected with an old mattress spring. She will be at the @fishlanestudio market in Brisbane on Sat 12th December with loads of other fun stuff from me and several other artists. Save the date

16.01.2022 I adored making this plaster and material art journal. Adding rivets old rusty wire and vintage ephemera just makes my day...days actually. Time to be out of the doldrums and back to creativity. Lots of blank pages await

15.01.2022 I am so excited. Some of my art is now for sale on Bluethumb an online gallery. I would love you to have a look and read the stories behind each piece. 15.01.2022 Creative hours can take many forms. I loved creating this mosaic with my team at Sunshine Butterflies today as part of their ‘Big Masterpiece Day’ and recently shared a fun afternoon with my 6 year old friend Lily and mate Pam in Bicheno Tasmania. So much fun

13.01.2022 Stage one of a piece I am making. She looks like sleeping beauty right now but doubt she will by the end knowing me!!
