We are closing down from 4pm Thursday 22nd December 2016 and re-opening at 7.30am on Tuesday 3rd January 2017. Please note we will not have an availability for on-call between 24th December to 28th December 2016 inclusively, but will be available for the rest of the close down period for emergencies. Due to employment legislation requirements a minimum call out fee of 2 hours and penalty rates may be applicable. We are aware of the costs and will always try to minimise any charges. Varied and diverse tasks - every day will be different The position can be either a Permanent full time or Permanent part time (including holiday pay, sick pay, super etc) OR Casual (flexible hours and would possibly suit semi-retired person) Tasks will include general handyman/maintenance tasks such as patching walls and ceilings (plastering and painting), changing tiles, installing trims around air-conditioners, floor covering, hang doors, fix gutter leaks etc. This position also includes tasks as a trades assistant to an Electrical tradesperson. 18.01.2022 Just thought we would check in to see how everyone is doing at this difficult time. At the moment, we are business as usual as per government recommendations and being an essential industry. We have implemented the below procedures to protect both our team, their families and our customers. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. Joderay Electrical Solutions COVID-19 Management Procedure for Customers... Joderay Electrical Solutions is committed to protecting its staff and customers from the transmission of this virus. Our business has in place systems to manage this health issue. This information sheet is to explain the on-site processes we have in place for our staff to provide service to you, whilst minimising the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Do not expect our staff to shake hands or touch you or your pets. Please keep your pets and any children away from our staff. Where possible we ask you keep at least 1.5m distance from our staff. Our staff will wash their hands before commencing work and when work is completed. Our staff have received instruction on correct hand washing in accordance with the recommendations of Australian health authorities. If using soap and water, they will take 20 to 30 seconds to lather their hands correctly. We have provided them with material to dry their hands. Where soap and water are unavailable, our staff will use alcohol-based hand steriliser solution to clean their hands effectively. If our staff are working on equipment likely to have been touched by you, where feasible they will use disposable gloves to handle exposed surfaces. If this is not possible/feasible, staff will wash their hands as soon as practicable after touching the surface. An alternative to this is to wipe down surface areas with alcohol-based wipes prior to touching surfaces. We will endeavour to avoid handling documentation between our staff and you the customer with bare hands. 16.01.2022 Electrical fires are serious. You can visually check the cords on your appliances yourself. Look for exposed wires or any damage to the cord to start with. If any doubt, please get it checked by a licensed electrician. Any small cost is balanced out by knowing your family and property is safer because you were pro-active and got it checked.
