25.01.2022 Make lists and stick to them! When it comes to lists, the old adage Fake it till you make it couldn’t be more appropriate. Just the simple act of writing down what you need to do can spark motivation and make you feel better and more productive.... If you’re feeling stressed or down, just getting some of those thoughts swirling around in your head onto paper can make them seem a lot less overwhelming. Creating lists that encourage productivity or reducing distractions can help you to focus even when your mind doesn’t feel like it. Start with the tasks that you enjoy or are good to help you stay motivated and maximize the time your spending at work.

24.01.2022 ~ JANUARY BLOCK ~ Kicks off Monday 4th January. This block will run until the 31st January. From the 1st February we will return to the normal timetable and Term block.... 22.01.2022 For one week - be physically active at least 30 min every day - it could be yard work, walking, workout or anything that gets your pulse going faster. Workday activity doesn’t count. The lymphatic system is stimulated by moving your muscles and getting your heart rate up. All these things stimulate the lymphatic flow. The contraction of your muscles becomes the pump that helps the fluid get around your body. We now know that movement is vital to the health of our lymphatics and therefore a proxy to a healthy immune system. Forces from the movement of our muscles helps maintain a healthy lymphatic flow and exercise is a proven and safe way to treat swelling associated with lymphatics.

18.01.2022 This lovely lady has been with me from the very beginning. Today we enjoyed a yummy breakfast to celebrate Kate having attended over 900 classes in the last 5 years. Class is never dull with Kate around. The regular f bombs, flipping me the bird, epic eye rolls and making up her own reps I can always feel the love .... On a serious note your one in a million Kate and I’m grateful to have you as a friend

14.01.2022 Food prep! You either hate it or you love it. Prepping on a Sunday for the week ahead can sometimes only set you back an hour or two at most if you plan well. But on the other hand, you will save HOURS during the week not having to cook and buy produce. It also tends to help with saving money as you are less inclined to dash out to the shops for some lunch.... Food prepping is an awesome way to get the most out of your week. By planning what you will be eating and buying all your ingredients beforehand you can really set yourself up for success!

You may earn less money, but be nice to work a job you find rewarding on a personal level. You may burn less calories, but be nice to do an exercise that you enjoy doing each day. You may lose fat slower, but be nice eating foods you actually like to eat when creating a calorie deficit. Chances are if YOU are someone who feels they NEED to be motivated you fall into 2 categories: - you ONLY do it for the reward (often money) - you ONLY do it to avoid bad things happening (stroke, type II diabetes or heart attack or going broke) They key to a life you don’t NEED to be motivated to live each day is this: Pick what constructs your life based on what YOU actually like doing.
