25.01.2022 Today I dragged out this retro one. I found her many years ago in an Op shop with no foot pedal. I bought her, then took her to the local sewing machine doctor. He gave her some love, found a pedal and even sourced a copy of her instruction manual for me. I had trouble getting the tension right, so packed her away into the naughty corner. 07.01.2022 Now the order is complete and has been delivered, I can show you all the ‘traditional Christmas apron’ that was commissioned. It’s not something that I would usually make, as ruffles can be my nightmare. But it was a challenge I was up for and am quite proud of the outcome. The hanging hand towel was a handy way to use up the scraps.
